I just want to help get the word out about this company. Thankfully I beat them to the punch before they could ripp me off. But With companies like this around we as consumers should help look out for one another. To start my husband emailed me a link that he found. To my suprise it was all about this weightloss program. The link it took me too was a news reporter that did a segment on the LeasnSpa Acai berry pills and LeanSpar cleanse. After reading the atricle i was convinced I needed to try it. So I ordered it. In the article it said I would recieve my bottles in 3 days. Thats a lie. I recieved my bottles exactly a week later. Mind you this is a trial period. was only to be for 14 day supply. I got a full month supply. Also your trial begins on the day you order your trial. So that means by the time my bottles got here I literally had 4 days to see if they 1. Work 2. if I like them. Upon ordering you are told to check your email for confirmation emails of your purchase. SO I did just that. I only recieved one confirmation for one bottle. Right there I felt like somthing wasn't right about this companyu. So I sent an email to email@example.com
Said I would have a responce in a few days,well more than a few days passed and I did finally recieve an e-mail. But during the time I was waiting for an email back I decided to call the number. Bcause when i checked the status of both bottles online or on the automated phone system, only was order was found. So I called. Wow i got through. The lady had no people skills. She was rude she acted like it was a burden to have to deal with a customer. Although she did tell me over and over again that if i no longer wanted to reiceive the product i neded to cancel my membership before the trial period is over or my card will be charged 80 bucks a month. I said ok i can do that if i dont like them.
Couple days later my email was finally gotten back to only to say that they are experiencing a high email volume and my ticket has been closed. but feel free to open a new ticket. Seriousl what would be the point of opening another one if the first one can get an answer. So then I decided to call the number yet again to cancel my membership. I now can't get through on the phone anymore. theres a recording telling me they have a high call volume and wait time is 30 mintues. then it just hangs up on you. That was my third flag. So I went online to cancel my membership. going through the motions when it tells me they want to charge me 20 bucks for me to cancel my membership. WTF. Seriously. So thats when i went on ripp off report and read all the scams that happend to people. Most people were being charged the 80 bucks before they had the chance to cancel their membership. I could not let this happen, I my husband and I closed our account that we used to purchase the trial botttles. Whats funny is I think they know I know they are full of crap. They have not contacted me to find out why my card isn't working. So I went online to check my account and they have put a freeze on my account. too funny. I'm just a consumer that beat the con artist. Thanks for reading and i hope more people are catching word of these ripp off artists!
