Thus, it is absolutley imperative that anyone who has fallen victim to this scam file a report with his or her local police department. Dream Smile and Leanrx.net list their places of business as Onatario, CA and Henderson, NV, respectivley, so ask your local police to contact their colleagues in those cities after you file your report.
Finally, report this activity to the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center online at http://www.ic3.gov/complaint.
The sizes of these individual transactions are small, however, as the sheer number of reports filed on the site demonstrates, the total cost of this fraud is enormous. Thus, it is essential that all of us report these charges to the authroties.
