Went in for a lease to own property in November 2011, paid 4,500 dollars down payment with deposits of 450dillars to be added the first year and 250 dollars the second year to be added. Now just discovered that the propety has about 5 liens on it. The ownner of lease then purchase was wanting to extend my contract for another two years with no paper documentation. Now owing me a total of 12k. Refusing to receive my calls nor respond to my messages.

I am Brandon Bowers, I am the owner of Lease Then Purchase. We have been in business helping people to own their own homes for almost a decade. I have hundreds of referances availble as well from our many happy clients.


The lady who filled this out was confused about the Liens when she posted this complaint. Below is an email she sent me a few weeks later admitting she looked up the tax liens on the wrong person which gave her the wrong information.

Hello Mr Brandon,

Sorry I was not able to send this yesterday after my almost 3 hours trip. Yes I went to the county as instructed by my attorney. The initial research that I did was when I used Amber's name as the grantor it unfortunately brought the wrong house information. At the County they decided to use Herman's name and that was when the actual property with the lot 18 came up. The grantee per the deed is till Prime lending and I am assuming that is Country wide and the transfer to Bank of America was not located in the system.

  • Now that the issue of the deed is settled, my attorney and I are interested in knowing why the extension for two years has to be made? If I am able to find financing before the end of the two years does it mean I will not be allowed to close?

If you can catch the rent up and buy this house now no one would be happier than me and the Jordan’s. Our goal has always been to help you purchase the house from the Jordan’s as fast as possible. The problem I see is you getting financed with a foreclosure on your credit report. This will keep you from obtaining a VA or FHA loan until probably the summer of 2015.


I also have numerous emails to and from her explaining to her her exactly how my program works. To make a very long story short her situation with a rental property she had went into foreclosure on her credit report. This kept her from buying the house and we eneded up evicting her after she was owing 3 months worth of rent. I always return calls and never avoid problems. Most of my customers are super happy at my program.
