at its best!

I received an offer for a card,Legacy Visa, and decided to take them up on the offer.
I understand that the annual fee is $75 dollars. The APR is 29.9%. I know that this is pretty expensive.
But lets face it,if I had good credit I'd have an Amex card. I intend to keep you folks posted as to how this works out. Currently, I pay my bills on time most of the time, they sent me this offer,as I understand it this card is by invitation only. I don't feel distinguished,my credit SUCKS,but I don't  have any intention of falling back into a horrible situation.
I simply intend to pay and use the card responsibly. Pay more than the minimum every month and pay the entire balance when I can. I personally feel that most people do not read the fine print on many contracts that they sign, and they don't understand the concept of spending using plastic. That's how they end up getting in serious trouble.

I like my First National Credit Card

AUTHOR: Tony - (United States of America)

I had my card with First National since it was a Green Dot credit card. Yes, the interest is a little high because it's for high credit risk like I was. But with the card, I was able to improve my credit report to finance a vehicle again and negotiate for a credit card at a lower rate. I still use the card for "rainy days". Get good customer service. I don't know about the Legacy card but if it's like my First National credit card. Then, it's a good card in my book!

Really

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

I am really not trying to pick on you but why are you posting a report on what "might" happen.  This is NOT a review site.  I guess if they are a "ripoff" you can at least have the satisfaction of knowing you already posted a report beforehand.

Response

AUTHOR: K Harris - (United States of America)

As I said I just responded to the offer,so I'm just going to see how this company does business.
I monitor my spending and accounts quite well now,so IF they try anything with me I will let you people know what that is.

Agreed

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

I agree with your comments about credit in general and people not reading things they sign.  But this is Ripoffreport.com not "I am going to handle credit better.com"  So how exactly did this company Rip you off?
