Never do business with this company. They are crooked and should be shut down. I got swept in and trusted this company to help me with a forensic audit. Sent off all my mortgage and personal information, tax returns, financial information, everything to get their help. I called a week later and found out that their number was disconnected, and they have moved their office. Without being informed by them, I delved into their business and found out they were operating without a license. When I requested my paperwork be returned to me, I had no response. I got the police involved. It was a nightmare. I meant business. They want $200 upfront just to have their "people" look over your paperwork to determine if you have a "case" and will not return your money if you don't have a case. Then they want $1495 to order an "audit" but fighting your mortgage company with an "audit" is not the proper way to try to save your home. These people are not legit or lawyers. Don't be fooled by their promises.

We have to assume that this is a non-client. This anonymous poster has stated erroneously that we charge to review mortgage documents. We in fact do an initial review free of charge as do most compliance researchers. The poster claimed that he/she gave us a credit card number, this very well could be as this is typically the method people use to pay us. The poster curiously did not mention whether they ever got charged nor had anything relevant to say about the service we do offer which is research. Research used by law firms to defend homeowners who are being railroaded by illegal foreclosure mills. Research used by law firms in support of both defensive as well as offensive legal postures. I would challenge this poster to show any single unfair or dishonest thing that LFA did and back up his/her statement that we charged for a document review. Our web-site clearly states that we are not a law firm but rather a research firm with relationships with law firms in NY, NJ, PA, VA, CA, WA, MA, MD, FL & OR. Nothing stated in this complaint shows us any cause for complaint.
