Legal Zoom Legal Zoom is the worst company I have ever done business with Internet

I will never ever do business with Legal Zoom again. As a matter of fact, I will tell every single person that I know, and complete strangers as well. I looked to Legal Zoom to assist me with filing documents with the state for a new LLC. When I first looked at the website I was sold as I felt that the price was reasonable. As the process proceeded, things seemed to run smoothly until one day, nearly a month after paying Legal Zoom, the status reverted back to checking for name availability after sitting in government processing for 3 weeks. Legal Zoom did not tell notify me there was an issue. So I contacted the company for them to tell me that the state notified them that they never received the filing documents.

At this point I was told that Legal Zoom was investigating this and that if it is found that the state really did not receive the documents, they would notify me and proceed with filing electronically, a quicker method of filing so that they may meet the proposed deadline for delivering me the completed documents. What burns me up is that this company has no problem sending me reminder emails to pay, however no one notified me of the issue mentioned above. I realize Legal Zoom is a for profit entity, however to continue to make revenue you have deliver on your services. It has taken so long that I feel at this point that I probably shouldnt request a refund because I really need to get things done so this company has really put me in an awful situation. I think what really makes me mad is that later I found that I could have done all of this myself. Had I done this myself I am certain this would be completed by now. It doesnt even take as long as Legal Zoom states after you pay for the service. With my state, you can actually take your paper work down to the office and they will process it the same day. Are you kidding me? Legal Zoom is a rip off indeed. Do some research, purchase software, or hire an attorney. This folks at this company want nothing more than your money. They could care less about you as long as you pay. I will never do any type of business with these folks again. EVER!!!!!
