I sincerely wish that these reports I see on this forum had been read prior to engaging Legal Zoom to perform any services. We requested a service and was sent a letter from the IRS by Legal Zoom. It was apparent that noone at Legal Zoom either read nor understood the contents of the letter. Spoke to IRS to find out that Legal Zoom is the worst company in their opinion based on the amount of mistakes and problems clients have that are reported to the IRS and then the clients had to correct the issues that Legal Zoom created. Per the IRS Legal Zoom did noit file correct information on the form submitted. So after getting clarification from the IRS of what the problems were and what we needed to do to correct the errors we contacted Legal Zoom customer service. That is where the nightmare began.

The representatives are absolutely clueless in what they are doing. They refuse to listen to what you are saying and adamently insist that they do no wrong. Then they escalate you to a help desk that refuses to supply a receipt copy of what was submitted electronically but automatically blame the customer and anyone else they can but themselves. They refuse to discuss the customer satifaction guarantee they do not honor it. While it is understood that any filing fees are not refundable and have no issues with that the remaining 475.00 should be refunded as Legal Zoom did not perform what the consumer requested and now the consumer must fix to stop any IRS issues. When asked for a supervisor got the standard line that none was available and they would call back when available.... 7 hours later must be a great meeting.

I have read the ex employee statement and the Legal Zoom rebuttal in 2010 and find that with our experience that it is far easier to believe the ex employee than anything the company had to say. It is obvious from the lack of a call back and the refusal of anyone in the corporate headquarter to discuss this issue that they only care about getting money and not customer service. I have left messages with all 4 of the co founders and still no call back from anyone at Legal Zoom. It is sad indeed that one has to resort to a forum to let others know what a poor quality of service this so called company offers. Lessson learned and will let everyone know what a bad experience and lack of customer service, quality control and knowledge this company really has. Maybe they will see this and actually respond but I have my doubts.

Attempt to contact again lack of customer service

Saw the rebuttal from  Patty@lzserve.com . Attempted to email 3 times each was kicked back as a bad email address. Then contacted customer service at Legal Zoom to try and speak to this "Patty" to be told they have no employees by that name. Explained the situation yet again to be told that they did nothing wrong same song different dance... So Patty if you do exist please supply a phone number and an extention where you can be reached as obviously your company has no idea who you are. I expect a response either here or a callback that was promised yestrday morning that has yet to occur. Must be a great metting as all supervisors are way to busy to talk to the very people who pay their salary. Great job on still proving the point that once you have the funds are in no way interested in delivering your promised services.
