Lenfex Group: Fraud. Bad Practice. Horrible Shipping Practice. Horrible Refund Practice. Horrible Communication. Do Not deal With The Lenfex group unless you are willing to deal with unprofessional practices, disputes and lawyers.
I decided to order two toilets from the Lenfex Group to install in my new home here in Miami Florida. The Lenfex Group asked me to to sign a credit card authorization form so that my MasterCard could be charged in the amount of $740. One week passed and I did not hear from them so I decided to call Lenny and Veronica who were the original ones dealing with me and this order. After waiting one week and finally deciding to contact them to find out the status of my order I was then informed by Veronica that their credit card machine was broken and they have not been able to process my payment. That right there was a waste of one week. Keeping in mind I had no toilets in my house. Very uncomfortable. The Lenfex group then asked me to send the funds via PalPal so I did as instructed. On October 9, 2006 a payment of $740 was send to the Lenfex Group via PayPal. Again after hearing no word from the LenFex group I again decided to contact them to again find out the status of my order. I was informed that they payment was received and that the two toilets would be send via FedEx ground shipment. I was also informed that FedEx has been damaging their items during transit that that they were thinking of using an alternate courier service. Days passed and I decided to contact them to verify if my items were finally shipped. I was given 2 tracking number to track my packages via FedEx. After multiple times of trying to track my package online, FedEx informed me that no package has been given to them from the Lenfex Group as of yet. All in all the Lenfex Group gave me two tracking numbers for items which in reality were not shipped until one week later. Another perfect example of bad business practice. At this time it was very difficult for me to get in contact with the original Lenfex individuals I was dealing with. I would call and be placed on hold for multiple minutes to then be told that they were unavailable. Sure enough the toilets were finally in FedEx's records and in transit. Once they arrived it was almost laughable at the condition of the boxes. Rips and wholes everywhere on both boxes and internal noises which meant that they items where shattered and in pieces (just as Lenfex expected). I refused the items from FedEx and contact the Lenfex group again to inform them that the items arrived completely damages that that shipment was refused. Greg Shilman from the Lenfex Group informed me that I once they received the retuned merchandise they would refund all my money. I then took it upon myself to track the return items and when received by the Lenfex Group decided to contact them to confirm the return of my funds to my PalPal account. At this time no one wanted to speak to me and I was transferred to a new voice and was asked to have patience while the Lenfex Group disputed the damaged items with FedEx. This is when I decided to report the Lenfex Group to both the Better Business Burrow, Rip Off Report and my attorneys. It seems like they will not refund my money until FedEx pays for the damaged in transit items. I have been purchasing many home improvement items online for my new home and this is not the first time I receive damaged items. All other professional companies have returned my money the same day the items were received back by the sellers. This is a perfect example of bad business practice which is why I am informing everyone on the World Wide Web NOT to do business with the LenFex group unless you are will to put up with unprofessional practices, disputes and lawyers. I myself am a very easy going person but after dealing with the Lenfex Group they have taken me to the point of frustration that legal action is now in process. I am lucky enough to have written e-mail confirmations from the Lenfex Group stating that all my money would be returned. It is such documents that strengthen and secure my case against them. I post this information in hope that no one else will have to deal with the unprofessional methods and run arounds that the LenFex Group practices. As of today I have not heard from the Lenfex Group nor has my money been returned as of yet.
