After having no choice but to pay the bill I checked all the other local stores and on the internet and found this same exact part to retail from low $148.00 to highiest I could find $207.79 I feel this was a totally unreasonable mark up and they new due to the holiday and how bad the bearing was that I had no choice but to fix it.

POSTED: Monday, December 31, 2012The parts stores do NOT have to install and warrant the installation of the part(s) whereas the shop does.
Usually parts markups are high at most shops so the labor charge can be relatively lower.
If you want to make a VALID comparison of prices, check with other repair servicers for their price.
Of course you'll find some differences, but the playing field will be level.
No, I DON'T work for ANY repair or parts company.
