My 74 yo mother went to Les Schwab to have her studded snow tires put on for winter. She bought the tires 11/7/11 and drove on those tires until 3/14/12 and than had them taken off and returned to regular street tires. These were brand new studded snow tires and less than 5,000 miles were placed onto them. When she was at Les Schwab they told her that she needed two new front tires, that most of the studs had fallen out of her tires and that it was her fault. She saw that the studs had fallen out of the front tires on the inside and outside of the tires. She asked if this was a product defect, and they stated, "no, that it was her fault for not rotating the tires and that they would not pro-rate or discount, or anything except full price for her tires". My mother, frustrated at being ripped off, said fine, give me two new tires than, her husband in old and handicap, the is a week long storm coming in the next day, she had no choice but to be bullied by the rude Asst Manager. They charged her $400.00 for the two tires, and gave her a swift kick in the butt.
I called the Asst Manager and when I asked him about the studded tires, he stated that the inside studs were worn down, not that the studs had fallen out?!?! What? That's not what my mother saw on her tires. That was not what was wrong with the tires. So, they are liars as well.
Les Schwab out of Yreka is rude and do not stand behind their product. They will sell you a poor product which they will not stand behind. They will lie to sell their shitty products and do not care who they use and screw to get their money.
I will be filling a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well as calling their corporate office. I hope that this bad behavior is not instilled throughout this company. If this was my company, I would be cleaning house and firing people! What ever happen to making the customer number one and that the customer is always right?
We will see and I will update this post if anything occurs.
Do not buy from Yreka Les Schwab. They only want your money and will treat you like shit!

I worked for a tire center for many years and maybe there wasnt enough snow or ice for the studs to work right. Also if the studs are ran on dry pavement they will wear out super fast i dont think it was their fault but they should of helped a little dont be so quick to play the blame game
