*REBUTTAL Individual responds: Never received payment
Leslie Adams advertised on Dreamhorse a safe beginner gelding for sale. A1200 check was mailed to her through a Carolina Lawn Maintenance located in Davidson, North Carolina. After some searching I learned that Carolina Lawn Maintenance only held a PO box in Davidson. She fell off the face of the earth and I never received the check back or the horse. She told me at the time of the sale that she doesn't usually service the low cost horses and she wasn't making a commission. Some big trainer she was on the Florida circuit. She needs a course in people skills and Integrity.

FL circuit sounds familiar - Margaret Haskill?

That Florida Circuit sounds familiar because Margaret Haskill alias 100 + million other names told me that she was training higher dollar horses and not dealing with lower cost horses/ponies and was in FL and could not get back for a few weeks to give me money back, which I never got of course, but yet she was in FL at a show and training high dollar horses and not receiving any commission on this LAME pony that I bought that she was selling for someone else. So is Leslie Adams alias Margaret Haskill too? I think she is. Sounds familiar to me. See my report dated 12/18/11 for Margaret Haskill. All these stories have pieces of the ones that I have in my report. Has to be the same person.

You are a nutcase

No, you are a complete nutcase. A seller has RIGHT to decline a sale when payment is not made as promised, or the potential buyer is deemed to be UNSUITABLE and both are applicable to you. If you wanted to purchase to pony so badly as now you claim to be, as soon as a 7-day period passed without payment being received, you should have:
1. STOPPED PAYMENT ON THE CHECK, DONE A RE-ISSUE AND SENT IT OVERNIGHT or PRIORITY SIGNATURE REQUIRED, or CERTIFIED SIGNATURE REQUIRED. ALL THE ABOVE WOULD HAVE RESULTED IN A TRACKING NUMBER SO THAT BOTH PARTIES COULD VERIFY TO SENDING AND RECEVIEING THERE OF THE PAYMENT.
YOU NEED TO CEASE AND DESIST ANY FURTHER SLANDEROUS COMMENTS, ACCUSATIONS, AND CONTINUED HARRASSEMENT IMMEDIATELY.
I feel that there needs to be a more aggressive position by SELLERS to warn other SELLERS of problem Buyers.

Never received payment

This woman has some nerve. She SAID payment was sent, but NEVER arrived. After 3 weeks of waiting for the mystery check, the pony was sold locally. I advised her to stop payment on the missing check, and if she was still interested in the pony, to send a check registered or certified mail so that there would be a tracking number for both her AND myself to monitor the actual sending of the check and it's arrival. That never happend. In addition to the missing check never arriving, she sent several rude and threatining messages to not only myself, but to my client, who after reading was enraged. How she can possibly have the nerve to write this is beyond me.
Again let me state clearly and for the record: THIS WOMAN NEVER PAID FOR THE PONY, REFUSED TO SEND A CHECK CERTIFIED OR REGISTERED MAIL, AND AFTER THREE WEEKS OF WAITING FOR PAYMENT FROM HER, I ENDED ANY FURTHER BUSINESS OR DESIRE TO ENTER INTO ANY TYPE OF SALES SITUATION WITH HER.
A retraction to the slanderous statment made here is demanded at this time.
