I ordered 3 bottles of SHO Absolute Dark tanning lotion from Lewies Tanning Products on line. I recieved them but it was not the right lotion in the bottles. However it was the correct label on the bottle. I know this because I have used this exact lotion for at least 3 years now. Lewies Tanning told me that they would not take it back because the was what I ordered. I even went as far as contacting the company that makes and distributes the lotion and they stated that by what I was describing to them was it in fact NOT the SHO Absolute Dark lotion. This company mailed me a letter stating this. I took the lotion to a well know tanning salon in my area and they too gave me a written, notorized statement stating that it was not SHO Absolute Dark tanning lotion. The lotion was different in color and fragrance. I sent all of the information along with the bottles of whatever kind of lotion it was back to Lewis tanning. They did refund me for the lotion but I ended up paying a total of almost $25.00 for shipping from them and to them. I could have bought a bottle a a near by tanning salon for around $ 45.00. In Lewies return policy it states if they send you the wrong stuff they will pay for the shipping...well they didn't and I still have to go out and by tanning lotion. I contacted the Better Business Bureau, but of course Lewies tanning just plain out lied to them about it so my case was closed. Don't order from them because you will probably not get the right lotion in the bottle.

Never recieved my lotion!

I had purchased a bottle of Deja Vu from them a month ago. We ordered it online and including shipping it came to the total of 32 dollars. I still have not received my lotion. I called the 1-800 number and the lady told me to email my complaint to the owner. So i did. I have emailed almost everyday since the lotion was supposed to arrive yet, i have got no email back or any help. I called the 1-800 number back and got the same lady with the same response. Do not order from this company, they will either send you the wrong lotion or not send your lotion at all!

I couldn't help but respond to this complaint. I have had nothing but good experiences with Lewie's Tanning. I have ordered several times and always received exactly what I've ordered, fast shipping and fantastic prices.
I have had bad experiences with other online tanning lotion companies (item never received with months to get a refund) so I tried Lewie's Tanning and had no complaints at all!

Misty,
Purchased three bottles of SHO Absolute Dark 9000 X. The SHO lotion was highly discounted because I had purchased the close out lotions from the then second owner of the SHO/Most company as he was going out of business. Misty was used to the first owners formula and scent and orange bottle color. Misty stated the lotion was not the correct lotion but in fact was the correct formula / color and scent from the second owner of the Most / SHO company. Now there is a third owner of the SHO/ Most company based in New York he has introduced his own versions of the SHO Absolute Dark 9000 X for the year 2009. In conclusion Misty did receive a top quality tanning bed lotion, but it was not what she had purchased in the past. We did explain this matter to the Better Business Bureau. The Better Business Bureau took our position on returning the purchase price but not the shipping.
In conclusion all the tanning lotions that we sell are first quality untempered with from the manufacturer.
