Lexington Law Not Worth It ! Internet

I paid Lexington Law for credit repair services for more than a year.  The bill was over $1000 and they did not get my credit scores to budge in any significant way.

They seem professional however, its just a sale pitch!  In truth, if you have lots of old credit dings, charge offs included, then all they will do is PROMISE to get you much better credit scores but in reality, all they do is remove dings that you can do by yourself. 

In fairness, they are up against immovable object dealing with the big 3 credit bureaus.  Yes, some of the bureaus will remove many items, but Experian for example wont' budge.    The result is that your scores WON'T change significantly.

After 7 years the credit bureaus are required to remove their dings from your report.  Its been almost 5 years for us and the bureaus are VERY tough!  DONT LET CREDIT REPAIR COMPANIES TAKE YOUR MONEY !!  Either do it yourself, or file bankruptcy, or wait the 7 years.
