Our experience with Lexington Overstock Warehouse was hellish...to say the least! In mid Dec we went into the Nandino location to order a piece of furniture. We were told the furniture was not used or damaged and would be new. We chose not to pay the extra fee for delivery and just go and pick it up ourselves at the Nandino location when it came in.

2.5 weeks later when it did arrive, my husband went to the location and picked up the box with the furniture, loaded it into his enclosed SUV and brought it home. Upon opening the box we discovered that all but 1 piece of the 4 major pieces of said furniture were completely broken!

They were cracked almost in half...interestingly enough, the box seemed fine.

We immediately called Clint (our contact) and left a message. We kept calling until we got him and he told us to take pictures and send an email to the warranty email address. Which we did within 30 mins of us opening the box.

We did not recieve a response of any kind from the email or the initial phone call for 3-4 days from Clint. So my husband called him to ask what the next steps were in replacing the items. Clint then proceeded to ask if we could "glue" them back together. WHAAAAT? He clearly never even looked at the pictures he had asked us to send. Ummm...we paid for NEW, UNUSED, UNDAMAGED items....plus these items were completely destroyed...glue was NOT going to do the trick.

He also suggested that maybe we had something to do with the damage and that perhaps the item had fallen out of the truck on our way home (impossible to happen from an enclosed SUV)..and that it was our fault that we left the loading dock without unpacking and inspecting all of the items before leaving the facility.

Clint also proceeded to act as if he was doing us a "favor" by ordering replacement parts for an item that we paid full price for and they had all of our money already.

There was NO communication from this company that was unprompted by us. We had to track them down everytime and they could or would not give us ANY info on when the parts were ordered and/or when they might be arriving. They were EXTREMELY vague and acted "put out" by the whole thing.

The "owner" Shawn was also EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful to us when we spoke to him. He never apologized for the inconvenience or damage. He immediately accused us and defended himself...taking zero responsibility for anything. Which to me suggests that they are used to this happening. He nonchalantly said "you get what you pay for". Well, I guess he is right. He should be ashamed to call himself an "owner" of a company that has that as it's slogan.

Almost 8 weeks after the initial re-order did we finally recieve the undamaged items as replacements....and a pitiful excuse for an apology from Clint via vm.

We will NEVER do business with them again. These people don't deserve business from us. We care...they simply and obviously DO NOT.

You should be VERY wary of saving a few bucks to buy from them.
