When this company shows you testimonials to support the huge earnings potential offered, check the year that these successful associates joined LLI and be aware that the market soon becomes saturated when such expensive products are being aggressively marketed. I notice that there are no UK successes being trumpeted yet. It could be that the successful associates selling to the UK are the same as those who have already left a trail of broken lives behind them in North America.

It's a serious matter when a company is forced to pay compensation by its State Attorney General. So check the average earnings that they have been instructed to display. It amounts to less than you will be 'advised' to borrow to pay for the cheapest of the conferences.

You have perhaps bought advertising already, but might not realize that you have to buy the vastly overpriced conferences yourself and then 'qualify' to sell them to others at the wholesale prices quoted. Ask your advisor what you have to do to qualify. Don't be fooled when they tell you 'no selling'. You will be selling like you've never had to sell before.

Maybe you are ruthless enough not to cringe when your advisor tells you not to tell your friends the details; that success is all about duplication and that you must leave it to their '3-way system' where prospects are pressed into answering 'are you in or are you out'.

This is an interview situation (as Shannon Lavenia will, very amusingly, stand on stage and remind you at the Super Saturday training weekend). No-one wants to fail the interview and lose this opportunity to earn huge amounts of money. However, selling is all about closing and even though prospects are pressed into answering yes or no, this is no guarantee that you have made a sale.

The Super Saturday training weekend (which you will discover is amazingly cheap compared to the conferences) is where you will be led along the psychological route and entertained and fed and partied. You will learn that to be successful with this business, you will have to position yourself, which in simple language means you will leave Super Saturday $20K poorer than you arrived. However, it gets worse. There is more to be learned yet! Read the other reports here at Ripoff.

Eventually, you will have to make the decision, like many others - how long do I keep spending money to try and recover what has already gone. At this point, you will be told that you have the herd mentality, that you are not a leader and that you should just duplicate. Duplicate what? Fraudulent misrepresentation perhaps? When you actually attend the conference that you have re-mortgaged to be able to afford, you will meet many, many wonderful people. Nearly all of them will be heartbreakingly optimistic, positive, supportive and broke.

At this point you will face a terrible dilemma. Do you continue to process others as you have been processed in order to try and recover some of your enormous costs? My husband and I chose not to climb on the backs of others to survive. It was only after this decision that we learned of the very serious offense of Wire Fraud.

This is a crime we know little about in the United Kingdom, but it carries severe penalties and extends to 'everything designed to defraud by representations as to the past or present, or suggestions and promises as to the future."

Shane Kryder wrote an article about prospecting with a quiet mind. In it he says that we have to make our prospects understand that we (the LLI associate) is the most important person in their lives. That the prospectors will be grateful when we become even more important to them than their spouses and their families.

We were sickened when we read this.

We were so thrilled to find Liberty League. We had such confidence in the company and its founders, Shayne and Brent. LLI's mission statement fitted so nicely with our own desire to make the world a better place, to create wealth for all. Others have spent large amounts of money to market this company due to our enthusiasm.

It's a terrible responsibility and I hope my writing this will save you from doing the same. I am not afraid of the cheerleaders trotting out the same quotes to tell you that we didn't work hard enough, we have negative attitude, we are losers, etc. I understand these cheerleaders are afraid of those who speak out - they have a lot at stake - they may fail to win your hard earned cash.
