I soon became really frustrated with my advisor Zanaida Lorenzo, I would ask questions about what to do next and all she would do is say wait a few weeks until the new back office was up, and to keep practicing my telephone script. When they recruit you, you are told that you will get all the help you need, they don't tell you it is a whole bunch of training calls that make you feel really small because you don't have these two tickets. Some of these calls you were not even allowed to speak out if you haven't bought a ticket or recruited anyone.
After the new website came online I was soon made aware of all the extra fees that you are required to pay. You pay them to use the website, conferencing system and to host your website. There are also many more hidden cost that you end up paying for in order to run the business, on top of all the advertising costs.
I worked this hard for two months, and I had no results. On top of this the pressure to buy the two conference tickets is unbelievable. They try to get you to mortgage your house, sell something, or use your credit cards. I finally applied for more credit cards and bought the Liberty conference ticket for $7995.00 on Nov. 2 2006. Me and my husband were now totaly tapped out, by the end of November I ran out of money to run this business. I had spent over $13,000. We were out of money period.
I was now pressured to buy a special event ticket to go to Las Vegas, NV in January to attend an event Zanaida Lorenzo and other top performers were going to attend. We spent the $200.00 and went hoping to learn an inexpensive way to run this business. What I haven't told you was that I fell during Thanksgiving vacation and hurt my back. I thought it would get better no problem, I was wrong. By the time I attended this event I was on heavy painkillers and could barely sit. How I made it through this event, I couldn't tell you. Within a couple of days I could no longer sit or drive and could barely walk. I found out that I had herniated a disk in my back and it was rubbing on my siatic nerve. I had back surgery on March 25, 2007, I will have to have another surgery later on down the line. Surprisingly Zanaida quit calling me a few days after the event in January. I feel she saw that I would not be able to work the business and I wasn't worth her time.
I have since requested a refund for my Liberty ticket but it has been denied. I now have filed a complaint with the BBB. So far I was willing to let it go if I can get this money back. I really feel that I should get it all back due to the way they get you to sign up. Another interesting fact is that alot of the top earners are involved in developoing programs for Liberty League. We end up paying for these programs. Are they making their money off sponsering people or by the stuff we are forced to pay for.
