Rip-off Report Investigation:

Editors UPDATE: Positive Rating and Recognition has been given to Wendy Stevens for its Commitment to Excellence in customer service.

Rip-off Reports investigation of Wendy Stevens uncovers an ongoing commitment to total client satisfaction. This means that clients can expect that Wendy will always work towards finding a mutually satisfactory resolution to any complaints or concerns. Wendy listens carefully to client concerns and sees them as an opportunity to learn from past mistakes and become more efficient as a company in the services she offers and the support for those services.

One top executives in the internet marketing industry stated to Rip-off Report, that Wendy Stevens personal philosophy is that her clients are a precious resource. We must listen to our clients and respond properly. This is the best way to ensure I will maintain a successful enterprise both now and in many years to come.

Another top executive of the company stated to Rip-off Report, that Wendy Stevens personal business philosophy is based on the premise that Wendy Stevens strives to add value in its services as they understand that a successful business model is based on value-added services, and client care. Wendy Stevens mission statement says it all; "Our goal is to provide our clients the best quality, value and professional excellence in the industry." Some of the other things Rip Off Report learned in the course of its investigation: Wendy Stevens business was established in 2004 to provide professionals and entrepreneurs elite marketing training. Wendy has trained thousands of individuals in that time with a handful of personal coaching clients and is recognized as a leading expert and premier trainer in the internet marketing world.

Rip-off Report has confirmed that Wendy Stevens takes quality control very seriously. Wendy has recently put a lot of effort into ramping up her support team and client relation processes including full time availability to clients to assist with any issues that develop. Rip-off Report was pleased to learn that Wendys past and current approach to business is focused on its pledge to total commitment towards client satisfaction.

WENDY STEVENS RESIGNED FROM LIBERTY LEAGUE, BETTER OPPORTUNITY, MORE BENEFICIAL TO CLIENTS, AND FOR HER ASSOCIATES WENDY HAD NO CONTROL OVER THE WAY BUSINESS WAS RUN, MAKING IT BAD FOR EVERYONE For over six years individuals have enjoyed Wendy Stevens engaging training style and have been attracted to her genuine caring for each individual she works with one on one. Wendy''s unique philosophy of giving back to others through sharing her success in internet marketing earned her a stellar reputation in the industry at large. Rip-off Report received complaints from individuals claiming to be her Liberty League associates prior to Jan 2009. In several cases the individuals did not even appear on Wendy Stevens'' official sales register nor did their IP addresses match the reports submitted--in other words, their stories were made up. Rip-off Report has investigated each Wendy''s reports and also found that some complaints were related to customer service issues which Wendy did not directly control.

Wendy Stevens began her career as internet entrepreneur with Liberty League, but the company made a series of fateful decisions that resulted in it going out of business in mid-2009. Rip-Off Report discovered that Wendy Stevens had no ownership in Liberty League. Although Wendy trained for that company she did not control staffing decisions, product quality, customer service policies, refund policies, nor any other control mechanism to ensure customer service for her associates. It was a very frustrating situation for her personally.

When the leaders of Liberty League launched a new business venture in late 2009, Wendy had grave doubts about its viability but did everything she could to help it succeed out loyalty both to the owners and her associates. When it became clear to Wendy that this new venture would not in fact succeed, and that her associates had been left without a way to make a living, Wendy Stevens resigned from the business to find another, better opportunity, for her associates. In doing so, Wendy Stevens walked away from the majority of her income. How many entrepreneurs have that kind of integrity and dedication to their team? Wendy did succeed in finding a great new opportunity for her team with LifePath, where she is helping people set records again in internet marketing. She hired a full customer service and customer resolutions team to ensure that her associates were being treated as VIPs.

Wendy Stevens recognizes that complaints posted on Rip-off Report (true or not) are issues that need to be addressed and if handled correctly can be valuable learning opportunities. With the feedback generated by Rip-off Reports Investigation Wendy Stevens has made organizational changes allowing her clients a more streamlined approach to problem resolution and a total overall commitment to her client experience.

In summary, after our investigation, which included discussions with Wendy Stevens and many of her past and current associates, Rip-off Report is convinced that Wendy Stevens has been and is committed to quality delivery of services resulting in total client satisfaction.

Liberty League International Take my negative experience and run! Scottsdale Arizona

Was surfing the web and somehow came across Liberty League's ripoff report! I am not surprised they are still in business.

Back in 2000 I joined a company called Travel Dynamics, later named Tru Dynamics. Liberty League is actually a "knock off" if you will, of that company. The head of Liberty League came from Tru Dynamics, due to differences between he and the CEO at the time. That's how Liberty League got started.

When Tru Dynamics finally sunk, the rip off artist who ran that company launched another company called Nouveau Riche.

These companies are all based in Scottsdale Arizona. They follow the same phylosophy, play with people's feelings, show them wealth, make unrealistic claims and take their money. Big Ticket items. I was a victim of the defunked Tru Dynamics, almost $20,000 worth. I took me a while to recover.

These people that run these companies live lavish lifestyles in Arizona. I've learned to let it go and go on with my life. I do very well in my business, it's an honest business, and it's not based on recruitment. The whole concept of network marketing is really not the problem, network marketing can actually work, many people are earning good money, I don't know about all the wealth claims, it's human nature to exagerate, take it for what it's worth, look at their cars outside, their clothes, etc.

What I don't understand is how many decent people have to be hurt before such companies are taken down by authorities. They protect themselves with compliance officers and lawyers and borderline the laws to the limit. There is definately a problem with our legal system. God knows that I and several other people at the time filed appropriate complaints with the practices of the now defunked Tru Dynamics, the rich got richer and the poor got poorer. What a scam! It makes me sick, my advice is to let it go if you have been hurt and move on with your life.

Cut your losses and run as far away as possible from these types of business opportunities. They want big money from you, unreasonable amounts for most people. They prey on the weak, the poor, and often the uneducated. The ones that already have the means or are very successful are generally recruited early in these scams, and given positioning advantages. Look around you at these meetings, everyone tells you they are making 20 to 30 thousand per month, but are they really? Look at the cars most drive, look at the homes they live in. It's sad they have to put on the image with hope that you don't find out the truth, that they are just as broke as you or even broker, or that they have taken a second mortgage on their home, how sad! They just want to recover their money, many already realize they have made a mistake, but want to recover their investment. It doesn't take too many recruitments when you're dealing with that kind of money.

I am not against anyone becoming rich, even filthy rich, if they work hard, they deserve to be compensated. But it has to be honest in my opinion and truthful. Next time someone tells you they are making 20 to 30 thousand dollars per month, ask for proof, that's not an unreasonable request if they are trying to recruit you based on such statements.

There are tons of business opportunities to do well at, stay away from these scams, any company of this sort that sells big ticket items, worthless big ticket items, they really are scams!

Good Luck!

AUTHOR: Alberta - (U.S.A.)

Today (12/19/05) I received a call from a Liberty League International representative in response to my search for an online job.

I will not include the representatives name because he hasn't lied to me yet; however having worked Business to Business sales for one month, I noticed that he failed to mention what the job was and what the requirements are. I asked him a direct question and he got a little defensive and stated that I would find out all of my questions and what the company does during a tele-meeting (live or recorded my choice).

I will not be calling to listen to the meeting. It is clear to me, based on the dogged and somewhat nasty tone of some of the Liberty League International Defenders, that something is not right.

Thanks Rip-Off Report

The BBB Excuse for NOT Joining LLI

Number of complaints processed by the BBB in last 12 months: 21

BBB REPORT: http://www.thebbb.org/commonreport.html?bid=501264

The Bureau processed a total of 2920 complaints about this company in the last 36 months, our standard reporting period. Of the total of 2920 complaints closed in 36 months, 373 were closed in the last year.

If so many want to base the integrity of Liberty League International on BBB facts then do so. But lets also see you discontinue car insurance with Geico, and lets see you rid your computer of Microsoft Windows.

Ladies and gentlemen lets be adults here and not look for a pitty excuse not to take control of your life.

Truth be told however, LLI cannot screen the individuals who decide to be part of the organization. You will have some bad apples (sponsors) who do not have the capacity to lead therefore some individuals fail. This failure is what spawns the reports to the BBB.

Need more on LLI, do a search on profiteks, a marketing firm dedicated to the success of network marketers, specifically LLI distributors.

Otherwise god bless you in your efforts as I pray 2006 will be your year in the lords favor

Taking Personal Responsibility and Due Diligence

AUTHOR: Ron - (U.S.A.)

I too decided to look into this "opportunity" after responding to a website ad, being contacted, and listening to the so-called "live" conference call.

Just so you know, I'm a very successful straight-commissioned sales closer with a Marketing Degree. I will earn ~$142K this year, and am looking to avoid the increasingly heavy traffic jams here in So. Cal. - thus, my quest for a hi-earnings potential home-based Internet Business.

I must say that it is up to YOU to take personal responsibility and do your own DUE DILIGENCE!

After spending close to 3 hrs researching and reading about both sides of this opportunity, I have to say that I must trust my "gut instinct"... and that is to "PASS" on this one!

I will provide a few links so you can research for yourself. Also,I will give you a few of my thoughts and impressions.

BBB REPORT:
http://www.data.bbb.org/scripts/cgiip.exe/WService=phoenix/phoenix/showrpt.html?language=english&zid=37001115

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

Based on BBB files, this company has an unsatisfactory record with the Bureau due to a pattern of complaints. Complaints are concerning selling practices. Specifically, complaints allege misrepresentation of the products or services offered by the company. Complaints also concern requests for refunds.
Closed Complaints
Number of complaints processed by the BBB in last 36 Months: 29
Number of complaints processed by the BBB in last 12 months: 21

Prospective investors should carefully examine a multi-level sales program to be reasonably certain it is not a pyramid scheme which emphasizes recruitment of distributors rather than retail sale of the product. Investors should be wary of promises of high potential earnings, especially without effort, time and serious personal commitment.
***********************************
My Thoughts:
They are NOT a member of the BBB! They've had 21 complaints in the last 12 months, and only 8 more in the prior 24 mos... interesting - possibly due to the growth of recruitment and the expansion over the internet. Yet, relative to the hundreds or even thousands of new recruits, that is a small percentage. It also appears that they have attempted to resolve issues in most cases. Hmmm... mixed feelings, but red flag!

4 Pages on Work at Home Forum:
http://www.wahm.com/boards/Forum59/HTML/000122.html

WOW!!! That was a lot of reading! Both pros and cons.

My Thoughts:
It seems interesting that there are so many LLI reps that are defending stories from people that say they have put in a 100% effort for over 6 mos, yet did not achieve the lucrative earnings that were being "sold".

Oh, and on that note - the FIRST thing that really set off my "gut feeling", was the continued usage of the phrase, "No selling, telling, or explaining!" Whoa...Whoa...Whoa, how the hell are you going to sell self-improvement, expensive trips, and a Lifestyle Concept without doing a lot of selling. (REMEMBER: I LOVE selling and am very good at it!)

Here's the email regarding Conference Call:
** Please note these asterisks that I placed to show you a "SALES TECHNIQUE"!

This email is to confirm your reservation for the Presentation Call we recently discussed. Instructions for accessing the call are below. During the call, ensure you are in a quiet area with a notepad and pen and can give 100% of your attention to the presenter. Take notes and write down your questions. You may wish to ask a few questions during the call, and write down the responses. Contact me immediately after the call so that I can review your questions with you.

**Understand that I often have a waiting list of guests for each call. If you are unable to attend the call, please contact me so that I may offer your seat to someone from my Presentation Call waiting list.

After call email:

I attempted to reach you today to follow-up and assist you in moving forward, however, you weren't available so I left a message for you.

When we spoke, you stated you were serious about being an entrepreneur and achieving a high level of success. At this point, you were invited to learn exactly how to make that happen for yourself. Perhaps you don't realize the potential of what is on the table for you. I have assisted many people, just like you, who were serious about improving their life and financial situation. But, they realized it was up to them. They had to make the decision to get started first. Now it's up to you.

You can review the information again by calling 866-404-3274.

**Due to the number of people I have interested, I work only with people who take initiative. If you are serious about achieving the results you stated you were looking for, the next step is to contact me.

When I spoke to him, he sounded like a rookie reading from a canned script. And he avoided answering my questions - totally turned me OFF!
(I did get out of him that he had only been involved for 6 weeks.) ...reminds me of the 'ol "Burn and Turn" Sales Organizations that have a revolving door of reps coming and going thru!

Another site I found:

Anyway, I just wanted to add to the comments here on Ripoffreport.com. I LOVE this site! - it has saved me Big $$$$, and it saved my best friend over $60K by warning him about investing in a particular franchise.

Ultimately, it is your decision - Just do you Due Diligence!

Personal Responsibility

AUTHOR: Loni - (U.S.A.)

Thank you Gabriel for making sound business sense. After having been an entrepreneur for 10 years and facing my fair share of challenges, I have seen more whiners than winners. Most people "make the decision" to start a business and then "make the decision" to quit for whatever reasons and then somehow make it a company company or product issue or an "outside of themselves" issue.

LLI is a company that trains Winners, not whiners but of course everyone has the choice of being or becoming one of the two. So many quit any endeavor 5 minutes before the miracle, until they find the path of least resistence and embark on that road.

Liberty League, does have tangible products....unless someone doesn't consider, books, cd's, and/or dvd's tangible - in which case, I assume they've never read a book, watched a video, or listened to a music CD in their lives. They also have conferences. Take a look around...valuable information does not come cheap. Ask anyone putting their kids through a college education. Wonder how much money Anthony Robbins has made on his conferences? I think it's in the multi-millions! Believe it or not, people enjoy surrounding themselves with the energy of positive and successful people offering information of how to become a successful person yourself.

Once in awhile I see comments from people who have remained around the perimeters of opportunities that they may have spent all of 3 minutes looking into, but speak about them as if they are experts and so many people believe them. HELLLOOOOOOOOO! Anyone can say anything (good or bad) that they want about any company on the internet. Does that make it true or false or give it factual credibility? Learn to do your own due diligence and make up your own mind.

There's two ways to build the tallest building. Either learn what it takes to build your own or knock down the guy that has already built one. Those that have the need from a negative mindset or just pure ignorance to knock down the other guys building, are just people who lack what it takes to build their own.

Enough said. Gabriel...much success to you. And to the others that have created such a negative thread about a company you either know nothing about or "tried" but didn't make it happen, best of success to you too....Remember, YOU are the common denominator in every one of YOUR situations.

Investigated and was contacted by LLI

AUTHOR: Jeff - (U.S.A.)

I consider myself an intelligent enrepreneur. Therefore, I know an MLM scheme when I see it. I investigated LLI for the purpose of making money. It makes the world go round. Mr Osorio responded that he has done well with it. Mr Osorio is to be commended. That doesn't mean that is still isn't a border-line scam. The litmus test for LLI or any company promoting such "too-good-to-be-true" plans is to 1)note what they actually say up front. We have a "system" which can "make you rich". The word "system" is the tip-off. If it doesn't say "invention", "product" or "service", then it's probably a MLM scheme. 2)If the come on is that you are somehow "special" or "qualified" to do it, it's probably MLM. I saw this right up front with LLI.

I was asked if I wanted to make lots of money. Of course, the expected answer is "yes". I already make lots of money so that was the wrong thing to say. I simply wanted to know what EXACTLY did they market. When they wouldn't tell me, it was "no thanks" and hung up.

You see, this is one of the oldest "con games" in the business, so to speak. It borders on the illegal and usually is. Unlike cleaning supplies or vitamins or buying clubs, they offer no tangible product for your investment. If Mr. Orosio chooses to "sell" this scheme, it's his business. As for me, I think I'll move on to something more legit.

how so many bitch and clamor on how they lost money with LLI

AUTHOR: Gabriel - (U.S.A.)

Ok so many point out how horrible it was to be part of LLI. How they failed miserably and lost so much money. Ladies and Gentlemen this is business. It's wierd how so many bitch and clamor on how they lost money with LLI, these are the same people who take out interest only loans on a home, and cry when the rates shoot up 2 years later and a great $1300 mortgage turns into a $1900 one (poor business decision). These are the same people who see their 401k dwindle to great depression lows, but still never cry foul or scam, they just press on because they know no other option.

Your options outside of LLI are vast. With so many companies to choose from, the company you choose is by choice a psychological decision based on several variables (only the prospect knows). Truth is outside of LLI there are an abundance of great opportunities, From EPI to Eventis to Coastal Vacations. But just like LLI they are what "YOU" make them. I sress the word YOU.

As an LLI Distributor dubbing as Bronxrep22 and Gabriel Osorio in many of these forums. I have stressed the need for business planning. No matter the business, no matter the prospect, no matter the product, a business plan is a must, and a solid understanding of business is required to some degree otherwise a "hustle" mentality is a must. I have had great success with LLI and I am not blind to the failures of others. This is the sole reason why I started a Network Marketing Firm. Profiteks, dedicated to bringing solid business and management solutions, to the get rich quick world of network marketing and it's players to think realistically of their goals and objectives.

Below you will find many reasons why business fail, not just LLI'ers but the entire game.

Early Start-up: Most businesses fail in the early stage from the lack of management skills, poor marketing, lack of financing, and cash flow problems. (If you do not have at least 10k to get started in this type of industry, don't bother) but also consider 10K start-up a bargain.

Growth Stage: Many businesses fail in the growth stage because they lack the knowledge to face continual challenges and to recognize a time-sensitive opportunities.( creativity creates degrees of seperation, often garnishing competitive advantage, Yes I said it be the black sheep, forget the "PROVEN SYSTEM" and do things ways you see fit after all it's YOUR BUSINESS)

Prematurity Stage: Many businesses fail in the prematurity stage because they do not understand the importance of expanding (meaning allocate your returns and re-invest in your business. Don't make your first 2 grand and by a plama TV, it amazes me how so many do this.)

Maturity Stage: Many businesses fail in the maturity stage from the lack of experience in managing their financial and human capital aspects. (Consider LLI and the industry as a whole an opportunity of leverage)I took the money I made with LLI, re-invested in my business, real estate, micro-caps, mutual funds, and Profiteks, because of this my streams of income have grown exponentially, a six figure month is well in my command but not solely from LLI. However, honestly and truthfully LLI was a prelude to my current success. My MBA (formal education) also helps, but where would have that landed me if it wasn't for LLI, here's a hint, a 70K dollar job in NYC with a company currently on the brink of down-sizing (sound familiar?).

I am more than grateful for LLI, my success, and divine favor. It pleases me even more to shoot down the ignorance of so many who put the blame on others rather than take accountabily for their decisions, or in-decisions. In the long run. This is your decision, this is your life, too valuable to play with, make it happen, make it work, and you will be handsomely rewarded. Whether it LLI or EPI, or anything else out there make sure you are ready to put forth a solid commitment, after all Corporate America was built by Entrepreneurs who gave it their all. Anyone thinking "Google"

To anyone and everyone godbless
This is Gabriel Osorio, adios
