Complaint Review: Liberty Mutual
Liberty MutualPO Box 52102 Phoenix, Arizona 85072 Los Angeles, California U.S.A.
Liberty Mutual when I found a less costly home insurance, I changed co's. and Liberty mutual tried to charge me a $100 cancellation fee. My agent didn't tell us this when selling us the policy. Their commercials on TV lie when they say they care about the individual. Los Angeles California

I had to provide proof of our current insurer, which I did, and even had my current insurance agent call them personally and notify them by letter. Still the letters kept coming and I received threats of ruining our credit. I know this happened a long time ago and the agent was partly to blame but I never did pay the $100.
The thing that turns my stomach is the latest commercials they put on TV saying that they care about the individual and how they always do the "right" thing. What happened to truth in advertising? Just wanted to let people know what kind of company this really is.
