I have participated auctions with Liberty Trading through Proxibid.
However, for an Auction that ended on the Mar 20, 2013. I successfully won two lots of items which totaled $1,136.80. I was invoiced, however i requested that i pay bankwire and for the bank wire details to be sent to me.

I paid the full amount of $1,136.80 via bank wire to which i got confirmation via a Liberty Trading employee via email that it was received on the 10th of April 2013. Six weeks have past since i paid the amount and i have not received the items. I ring and email consistently and get no email replies. Furthermore on week seven of not receiving my items still. I open up a dispute with Proxibid for them to follow up with Liberty Trading. On the Liberty Trading terms and conditions it states that after week 7 you can request a refund.

Week 7 i ring Liberty Trading and speak to an employee in regards to not receiving my items and to request a refund. This employee states that she will get the refund done via cheque and has contacted the accounts team to which i should receive the cheque refund for the full amount the following week, week 8 to my Californian address.

Week 9, two weeks since i called up for my refund request and i speak with a Liberty Trading employee who states that the reason i have not received my items was that they did not have them in stock when i paid for the items. In addition, i was advised that no progress had been made on the cheque and that no one had even moved my invoice for any action.

It is that at this time the employee i am speaking with states that she will do my refund straight away via Paypal. I give her my paypal email address. An hour later i call back again and the same employee advises that she has to many Paypal refunds to do and that mine will be done next week.

Week 10, I call regarding still no paypal refund. I ask to speak to a manager, no manager, no thought when my refund will be done, they make another excuse that their paypal account has been frozen.

It will be 11 weeks as of next week that i paid my funds $1,136.80 on April 10 2013.
I would like my full refund via paypal as soon as possible as they have said they would do.
I would like my full refund that i have called four times since week seven that i have been told will be done that day. I would not like to keep wasting my time and money calling, and emailing them and proxibid.
I do not want my items, I would like my full refund of $1,136.80 paid to my paypal account. I want honesty.

 I am having the same problem. What you need to do is file a report with the Illinois BBB. They are actively putting a case together against Liberty Trading. They need EVERYONE having a problem with Liberty Trading to file with them. A criminal case is on the horizon against Liberty Trading. After you file with the Illinois Better Business Bureau they will call you and speak to you about your complaint. They are EXTREMELY nice and care. You should also file a complaint with the Illinois attorney general's office. This is easy to do and will get you results. ****PLEASE, EVERYONE WITH PROBLEMS FILE WITH THE ILLINOIS BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!!!********
