I purchased a phone in mid July 2004, and I had issues with one of the features as well as the amount of heat radiating off the phone if it was in use more than 10 minutes (it was an LX-LG1200). I called Liberty Wireless numerous times and was told to call LG Electronics the manuf. of the phone. I did that only to find out they said to call Liberty, they should handle the return of the phone and or problems. One rep at LG told me about the frustrations at LG due to Libety Wireless customers calling in with bad information given to them by Liberty Wireless.

I went back to the point of purchase, well I can tell you, you absolutely, positively don't want to do any business with Page Tech Seven located in Philadelphia on Chelten Avenue. They are useless, clueless and not willing to step up to the plate and take on any obligation and/or responsibility for product they sell or the services they gladly set you up with through Liberty.

It got to be a contest between Page Tech Seven, LG Electronics and Liberty Wireless. I was told by Liberty and LG that since I purchased the phone and had it under 30 days Page Tech Seven should just take back the phone and give me another, then Page Tech Seven could send the phone into LG or Liberty for replacement.

Page Tech Seven said they can take my phone and send it in, but they won't give me another phone. Mind you, they had plenty other phones like the one I purchased less than 14 days previously, but they stood firm on not wanting to replace it from their stock. I finally gave the phone to them to send in.

I called Liberty and told them what I had done, next thing out of their mouth was I should have sent the phone to them, I said for what? I can't reach you people on the phone half the time, and when I do, I get the run around, bad information, no information and no resolution.

There is a definite language issue with the majority of the folks I've encountered online... so I am inclined to believe "Octavia" as to the possibility they are not necessarily located in the US. I believe them to be Koreans and I believe most if not all of their rep calls are answered outside of the US.

Now I sit and wait for the return of my phone and hope that they will have insured the features work as well as they have checked out the reason the phone heats up so badly when you are talking on it past 10 minutes. I have already advised them that IF they send me a faulty phone I want my money back. But, I know I'm dead-in-the-water with this demand, so I'll keep going to Page Tech Seven and let them send it back, at least that way I feel a bit more comfortable that they will keep up with my phone... Liberty is liable to loose it and say it never arrived based on some of what I have read on the RipOff site. I'll never do business with any of these folks again

I feel like typing up some fliers and going into Phila., stand outside the Page Tech Seven store and start handing them out, stating... "these people take your money and are not accountable for bad phones, they won't refund you... they just stare at you while you are talking... that's when they want to act like they don't speak English."
