On December 7, 2012 my husband hit something that was laying on the road causing damage to the car. A police report was done and insurance was notified that same night it happened. The insurance mentioned that withing the next 24-48 hrs someone would be contacting us. Almost 4 days went by and no call. Everytime we called it went to an answering machine. Till finally I managed to talk to someone and they gave me a another number to call the appraisel company. Appraisel company said that our claim number was invalid. The next day I recalled my insurance and they said that they would would fix that issue. One week goes by and still no appraiser. Two weeks go by and finally the appraiser shows up and a week later we are calling the insurance company to check the status. They start blaming the appraiser and a week later they are blaming the insurance agent who sold the insurance. Over a month has gone by and still no check for the repair damages. This friday it will be a month and a week that the car was damaged and this company still can't send the check to repair the damages. They have time to send the bill for the next up coming payment but the car is still sitting in the drive way damaged. Don't buy insurance from Lindsay General they will never talk to you when you need them.
