I ordered this product from a TV ad by calling the 800 numbered offered.  It is a lengthy recording that offers numerous add on products or purchase options.  You must press a number to designate "No" or say "No".  It takes at least 10 minutes to get through this.  The ad states the purchaser will have 30 days to test the product to see if it works.  Actually it is only 2 weeks since the 30 days begins the day you purchase and it can takes up to 2 weeks to receive product, unless you wish to pay more  for FedEX.  Additionally the recommended dose is 2 capsules prior to each meal  for maximum benefit(or 6 capsules per day).  You do not know this until you receive the product.  They ship 60 capsules (two bottles) which if taken as directed, will last 10 days.  Purchasing the test product is $29.00 plus tax and they offer additional product (180 capsules) plus 2 bottles of Metaboup @ 30 tablets each for additional charges.  To defray the cost of this additional  charge, they offer you a $25.00 Walmart Gift Certificate.  They are very clever in their recording, recapping what this means to you.  When the product is received and you realize all of the above, you may think that at least you have the Gift Certificate.  WRONG.   The Gift Certificate clearly states "Special  Offer This order qualifies for a $25 Walmart Gift Card Offer ("offer" was never mentioned in the recording) and then goes on to state that the offer is not available in IA, VT, WI, MN, ME and US territories or outside the US.  FLORIDA IS NOT MENTIONED.  It also states that one should go to WWW.Offers.MajorSavings.com - but doesn't say why.  I went to this website and it did not exist - it brought up many sites offering coupons but noting with this address or that mentions Lipozene.  So, I called the customer Service Number.  I spoke with a representative that told me my zip code (in Orlando Florida) was not eligible for this offer and there was nothing they could do about it.  I asked to speak with someone who could do something about it.  I  was told there was no one there who could do  anything about it.  Sooooooo, not only was I short changed on my 30 day supply, I also am unable to use the Walmart "Gift Card" that was suppose to defray my additional  expense.  Stay away from this company.

Receiving a $25.00 Walmart Gift Card / Lipozene

AUTHOR: Talia - ()

POSTED: Friday, May 16, 2014

I live in California. I was watching TV and saw the advertisment for Lipozene. Bought the 2 bottles for $29.95 & also received 1 bottle of Metabo Up Plus for free. In this TV advertisement they said you would also receive a gift card from Walmart for $25.00. It was shipped on 04-09-14 and I did'nt receive it until 04-19-14.

I started using it as directed, plus I walked 3.5 miles a day. I live in the mountains and walked down hill and up hill 7 days a week. I lost 30 lbs.. I was very, very pleased with the results. Today, 5-16-14, I call Lipozene to stop shipment and cancel any further orders. I get an automated recording and go through the prompts and it tells me my auto shipment is cancelled and no further shipments will go out as of today and then starts to tell me about the now $50.00 Walmart Gift Card and the phone hangs up on me. So I call back and manage to by pass the automated and spoke to a customer service rep. I explained that the phone hung up on me and that I cancelled my order, lost weight and would like to know how I am suppose to receive my Walmart $25.00 Gift Card. The customer service rep.refused to provide me with the phone number to call to receive information about the Gift Card and hung up on me. Note: It is interesting that the automated phone said $50.00 Walmart Gift Card, yet the brochure I got in the box of my Lipozene says $25.00.

I just happened to save the original TV order phone#. So I called and spoke to another customer service rep. who was very helpful. She gave me the phone# for the Walmart Gift Card Reward. So I called that phone# and spoke to another service rep. who again was very,very..... helpful. However, she explained to me that I had to purchase the "Rewards Offer" where as you get 30 days free of using it, which is a booklet of coupons and discounts at various Merchants and then you sign up for this and then you receive your Walmart Gift Card, but not for $25.00 , but $24.00. I told the customer rep. that was NOT what the TV advertisment said, nor did the person whom took my order at that time never mentioned that. I told the customer servicer rep. that my brochure called "  Lipozene , The Welcome Guide" that came in the box has  an advertisment page showing a   "$25.00 Special Offer". It reads as follows:  This order qualifies for a $25.00 Walmart Gift Card Offer.  Go to www.Offers.MajorSavings.com. * One gift card per household and have a valid e-mail address.  ** Not available in IA, VT, WI, MN, ME  and US  territories or outside the US. The customer rep. told me it was getting close to closing time that it would be best for me to go on line to www.WalmartRewardsCard.com tomorrow. I was HAPPY that I lost my desired weight and my REWARD for that was the $25.00 WalMart  Gift Card. Why do I have to purchase some Merchant Coupon/Disount booklet that I don't want. That was not what was advertised on TV nor written or told to me upon purchasing my order of Lipozene/MetaboUp Plus. Lipozene did work for me; however; Lipozene in their advertisement is misleading the consumer in regards to how you receive your " Walmart Gift Card". Will I ever receive my $25.00 gift card from Walmart without going through purchasing somthing I don't want ?2014-05-16
