Liquidation.com ,Liquidity Services, LSI USE CAUTION WHEN BUYING FROM LIQUIDATION.COM - ITEMS LISTED DO NOT MATCH ITEM RECIEVED - RETURNS LOTS SHOULD BE SALVAGE LOTS!!! Cranbury New Jersey
We have been beat twice by Liquidation.com! The first time they did offer a $69.08 partial refund on a $473.00 "Salvage Lot" purchase! We purchased a "Salvage Lot" of what was supposed to be electronics and games and they only had pictures of a few of the good items and the items were on the top of the box when they took the open box pictures! Well, we get the lot home and on the bottom of the box was all water logged books, ripped and torn books, and expired gamefly subscription cases! This accounted for more than half of the lot total! So we contacted them at the disputes area and they offered the partial refund! We made a wopping $ 56.00 on this purchase! We let this go and figured we learned our lesson on buying "Salvage Lots"
SO, We buy another lot of 18 "Returns" Stereos! Mostly all Insignia! We arrange our own shipping to try and make a few more dollars on the purchase when we resell them! We go to pick them up and sign the waiver Liquidation has in place for people who arrange their own shipping! Load up the truck, get them home, test them, and NOT ONE WORKS!!! These should have been salvage! Every single one of the Insignia units did not work!
Now, My request for a refund has been denied on numerous occasions because they state I signed this waiver form when I picked the items up and arranged my own shipping! I did this with the first purchase too, but they gave me a partial credit??? Makes you wonder! So, they claim I was supposed to inspect the units when I picked them up and said something at the warehouse! Well, an inspection of the units would have not shown they did not work! They would have had to have been powered up to show this and the warehouse has no policy or way to allow you to do this! So basically I am beat out of 253.00 for this lot!
The policy is bogus because I even asked "what if someone buys a lot of 493 items, arranges their own shipping, are they supposed to sit there and count and inspect each item before they sign the waiver inside the warehouse?" I got no answer as of yet!

WOW!! After a little research I have found your company has made the great headlines on the internet with ripping folks off! I further found there are several complaints with the BBB about the company! I just got done reading something of the same nature as mine, you listed items as good, usable, worked well, and the individuals got them and they were non-working! So I am not alone in this matter!

So you are still telling me I am at a complete lose here with this order! All items were supposed to be returns and not one worked! Your saying that I was supposed to inspect these items when you have no way to test them! Tell me this, someone buys a lot of 493 items, arranges their own shipping, are they supposed to sit there and unwrap the crates and count and inspect each and every item that can not leave the warehouse until this waiver is signed for?!?
This is a bogus policy! The only way I would have known these were garbage would have been to plug them in and power them up and you're warehouse has no policy on this saying we can do this! Since you are still denying my request here for this lose, and paypal only covers the lose to a certain amount, I think my only option left is to take this to small claims court!! I will also be reporting this to the BBB.
Your policy and waivers clearly protect your company and your sellers but offer really nothing to protect the buyers "who arrange their own shipping" as you call it! In arranging my own shipping, I as I am sure many others do too, am trying to make some extra money off this stuff but can not do so when it is something that should have been deemed as trash! In talking to some of the people who were picking up from the warehouse, I know I am not alone in getting beat for either the total amount of items or the items being busted up on the bottom of the lots! They too think there's nothing they can do since they signed these waivers and just took it as a lose! It is not fair when we are buying returns and getting garbage that should be labeled as salvage! I guess thats what the rich do though, GET RICH OFF THE POOR TO MIDDLE-CLASS PEOPLE IN LIFE!!

Buyer MAY Arrange Shipping (pop up screen)The buyer has a choice to arrange their own shipping or allow Liquidation.com to make the arrangements. Buyers electing to arrange their own shipping must contact Buyer Relations and request the shipping charges be removed. Buyers arranging their own shipping must sign a Shipping Waiver Form. Once the transaction is paid, the buyer is sent the necessary forms to sign and return. By signing, the buyer agrees to waive their right to dispute the product. After the signed forms are returned, the buyer is provided the pick-up location and contact information. Buyers arranging their own shipping are encouraged to inspect the product prior to removing it from the seller's location. The buyer makes arrangements to have all freight charges billed directly to the buyer.

DISPUTE DENIED: Buyer arranged own shipping; When you opted to arrange your own shipping, there was a pop up box before you paid that stated "By opting to arrange your own shipping, you agree that any claims must be made at the time of pick up, therefore no claims would be accepted after pickup".

I HAVE CONTACTED LIQUIDATION.COM's DISPUTE AREA ABOUT THIS MATTER AND THEY DENIED MY REQUEST FOR A REFUND! I PURCHASED A LOT OF 18 RETURNS STEREOS AND ONLY RECEIVED 17! PICTURES ON YOUR WEBSITE LISTING WILL PROVE THIS! FURTHER, ALL THE INSIGNIA STEREO UNITS DID NOT WORK! THE CD TRAYS EITHER DO NOT OPEN OR JUST DON'T WORK AT ALL! SOME UNITS WERE COMPLETELY BUSTED! THIS LOT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CLASSIFIED AS SALVAGE "NOT RETURNS". YOUR POLICY STATES WHEN I PICKED THEM I I WAS SUPPOSED TO INSPECT THEM BEFORE SIGNING FOR THEM BUT YOU HAVE NO WAY TO TEST THE UNITS AT YOUR WAREHOUSE, THEREFOR I WOULD HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING THAT THESE WERE ALL DEFECTIVE UNITS! THESE ARE ALL TRASH UNITS THAT I CAN NOT USE OR RESELL
THEREFOR I AM REQUESTING A FULL REFUND FOR THESE ITEMS! I AGREED TO RETURN THEM TO YOUR WAREHOUSE IN MY PREVIOUS DISPUTE AT YOUR WEBSITE! YOUR SELLER FALSELY REPRESENTED THESE ITEMS AND THEY HAVE DONE IT BEFORE! THE LAST LOT I PURCHASED FROM THEM CONTAINED MOSTLY GARBAGE, BUT I ACCEPTED YOUR 60.00 BECAUSE IT WAS LISTED AS SALVAGE! THESE PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO LIST STUFF THAT IS TRASH AND THEY KNOW THEY DO IT BECAUSE THEY ONLY PUT THE GOOD ITEMS ON TOP FOR THE PICTURES! IT IS WHAT LIES BENEATH THAT SHOULD BE IN THE DUMPSTER!
I BOUGHT THESE STEREOS TO RESELL AND MAKE SOME MONEY ON AND NOW I AM AT A 250.00 LOSE, NOT COUNTING MY TIME TO COME GET THEM AND TESTING THEM! I WILL AWAIT YOUR RESPONSE IN THIS MATTER AND SHOULD THIS BE DENIED AS WELL AND IF PAYPAL DENIES MY CLAIM, I AM FULLY PREPARED TO GO FURTHER WITH THIS MATTER! I THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
