PLEASE help us NOT lose our home!!
Ive been reading about the mortgage company, Litton Loans and it seems like all they are doing is scamming people.. Please help again, we have done everything asked and they will NOT work with us.. Please shut them down. They are defrauding so many people!!! I do not want us to lose our home because they just want money. We have worked so hard for it, and do not want to end up on the streets.. I have attached some things that proves Litton is just out to ruin peoples American Dream.
This is basically what has happened.. About two years ago when he went to pay his mortgage they took the money out the wrong account.. He said, OK maybe the FIRST time I was the one that inputted the information wrong.. The next month, they did the same thing. He knew he had NOT inputted the wrong info this time.. So he called the loan company and spoke with someone in their IT department who in turn reset everything.. Also, Litton Loans told him that they miscalculated his taxes (he had 2k already in escrow) and he now had to pay an extra 200 dollars a month on top of his 900+ mortgage payment (thats just one of the mortgages)
Litton Loans told him to dispute the two payments that were taken out of the wrong account by FAXING them a letter stating so.. He did, when he began calling requesting a physical address so that he could send a certified letter they told him that NO, he HAD to fax it. He could NOT mail it. So, he called again to find out the status of his dispute, and everytime he did, no one knew what he was talking about, or said he had to resend the letter.. They never received it.. He'd be on the phone for HOURS with them, to no avail.
Just recently they informed him that in order to save his home from Foreclosure he needed to submit TWO mortgage payments, and still continue two dispute the other two from TWO years prior.. So on August 13 (give or take) he sent them a cashiers check for the two mortgage payments. They informed him they needed the payments by the 22nd of August, they received these payments on August 20th and did not do anything with them until August 26th. They then informed him that they are going to return his two payments, and charge him an NSF fee. He isnt even sure why they are doing this.. On September 3rd he gets served with court papers stating that they are going to begin the foreclosure process. This was well after he had submitted the payments that they said would STOP it. He has yet to receive his payments, and when he calls and leaves messages to one lady who gave him her direct line, she never returns his calls.
NOW, they are telling him that he needs to pay September AND Octobers mortgage (he believes they did this so they can speed up the foreclosure process since he has to be 6 months behind) He has done EVERYTHING they told him to do to STOP the foreclosure and they are still asking him for more money. He was informed that he has to pay 340 in late fees, is -408 in escrow, he has to pay the fee for the papers he was served, their court fees.. Basically they are now saying he owes them 9k dollars..
He believes he is being played with because as I said before, he has done absolutely everything requested of him.
