On the 4th August I sent a message to the customer support thought the live365 website but unfortunately after 2 days the had not reply yet.
So I went trough the website to found out more and I have found a dedicated cancellation email address then I used it on the 6th (6th day of the 7 days trial period) to send the request and stop the service.
Today 8th of August, exactly on the day of the trial week period expiration, I receive a reply from them and basically they do not want to refund any fees.
Here is the email:
Thanks for writing to Live365. We are pleased that we can assist you. We are sorry to hear that you would like to close your Live365 broadcast account with us.
At this time, our subscription packages are set to renew automatically unless a cancellation request is received before the renewal date. Did you send your request from a different email address? If you did, please let us know what email address you used and, if you have a copy of your request, please send that to us. In the meantime, since your cancellation request was not received for your account prior to your renewal date, your Live365 subscription package was renewed automatically.
In most cases, once a subscription package is renewed, we typically do not issue a refund. This is pointed out on our Broadcaster Agreement that you can view at:
We have gone ahead and set your account to close at the end of the current billing cycle 10-30-2009 so you are not charged any further for our service. If you have any further details regarding your account's cancellation or status, please let us know and we can take it into consideration towards your refund request.
