Loan Depot, an internet Mortgage Finance corporation promises you everything and delivers nothing! Very affable morgage bankers, slick to draw you in. Establishes a reasonable degree of trust, collecting usual data necessary to refinance a property.

Once in receipt of all your information, the back peddling begins. Interest rates no longer as advertised, property (a condo in Florida) suddenly is not financiable by Fanny Mae (why didn't they tell us that at the get-go?, after appraisal, some "automatic computer formula kicks out the appraisal and drops it by 50 grand. Then they want 40, grand up front to refinance or an elongated process to get my homeowners association to become FHA approved.

Now out the $350 Loan Fee, and have no Re-Finance of property.  Planning to file a dispute with VISA for loan fee.  Am concerned about the security of my financial information...Watching everything in Jupiter.

Was told a manager would call and address possible ways of working out a solution and no follow up call to date.
