Local Ad Link charged me twice for my ads, and then refused to send me a refund for the amount they overcharged me.
I contacted Local Ad Link immediately when I saw the charge on my online bank statement. In fact, I contacted them the same day the charge was placed on my account.
Local Ad Link's excuse for not sending me the refund was that they said I did not notify them within 72 hours of the charge being made. Of course, I could not have contacted within that time frame because I didn't know they made the error!
Local Ad Link then denied me access to my ads so I could not change them - even though they told me I would be able to make revisions to the ads at anytime.
Local Ad Link overcharged me and didn't deliver the product they advertised. There are many accounts online of other people who have also been ripped off by Local Ad Link. Local Ad Link is a scam.

So I went to the meeting with a bit of skepticism. They said that they use a combination of "Geo and contextual targeting". When I heard that, I thought, "great, that's an awesome idea." And it is an awesome idea, however, when asked for them to show me some examples, all I got was a few phrases I could type into Google that would show one of their advertisers. I tried to type in minor variations of the word, and the advertiser didn't show up. I said, "take me to some sites that are showing your ads". When I asked for this, they said, "We can't take you to a site and show you an ad, per say, but here are some screen shots of ads!!!!!" GREAT!!!! THANKS FOR THE SCREEN SHOTS!!!! Now when a potential client wants to see an example of where their ads will show I'll just say, "We can't take you to a site and show you an ad, per say, but here are some screen shots of ads!!!!!". RIGHT..... That's going to work.
Honestly I don't blame all of the MLMs that are signing up for this. It sounds like a great opportunity, but in reality it just doesn't work. The only reason I was so skeptical is that I have run multiple Adwords accounts for a couple of different businesses and have some sort of a grasp on how SEM works. As soon as I started asking pointed questions, the leader changed the subject. The fact of the matter is when you turn to sell this to a client, you are going to be up S*** creek.
Cheers
