at its best!

My son bought the wrong size tires from Locos Gringos. They told him to bring them back the next day and they would make it right. Then then Locos Gringos sold him a 2nd second set of tires with no intention of refunding the money for the 1st set.

When we went to get the 2nd set mounted we found out one of them had a bad bead and the other had a undetectable hole in the sidewall. We tried to get a refund, but Locos Gringos would only offer store credit for more of their junk. Buyer Beware! If you buy the wrong part or if they sell you a bad part they will not refund the money. Not one dime! They are a RipOff!

First off anyone who goes to a salvage yard and buys anything should know that your takin a chance on anything you buy they know as much about the part your buyin as you do so if they offer a warranty you should pay for it other wise you may be stuck with a defective part so you just waste your money. They were nice enough to offer store credit when the guy didn't purchase the warranty I find it hard to see him bein ripped off if anything they were goin out of there way to make a customer happy. They did not have to give him anything they could have just said owell there's no warranty so there's nothin they could do. There is no law sayin the have to give a refund on a nonwarrantied part if that was the case they would go bankrupt. I personally find locos gringos a very well ran and organized business I have been satisfied every time I have been there

Nonsense

AUTHOR: jgroves - (United States of America)

Loco's Gringos is mistaken. My son went in by himself and purchased the tires and returned them the next day after he found out they were the wrong size. Loco' Gringos is right, at that time he did not have the receipt with him, so they did not exchange the tires. This is where the Rip-Off part comes into play. They told him to go ahead and purchase more tires the right size and bring the receipt back the following day and they would make everything right. The 2nd set of tires were bad, that is were I got involved, when we went back with the receipt for both purchases they said that they would only exchange both receipts for more of their junk. The prudent thing for them to do would have been for them to have my son bring the original tires back the next day with the receipt and exchange them. Not to sell him a second set of tires. Very bad business practice! Very deceptive.

There are 2 sides to every story

AUTHOR: El Loco Gringo - (United States of America)

Locos Gringos is a Pick and Pull. Which means everyone has to go out and choose their own parts.
We offer a warranty and explain what the warranty covers. The warranty covers if the part is not the same or it does not work you can bring it back and get your money back or you can exchange it for another one. This guy and his son came to our place and at the time of their purchase they were asked if they needed a warranty they decided that they did not need a warranty.

The next day they came in wanting to exchange the tires because they got the wrong size and had no receipt or no kind of proof that the tires were ours. That's when we were nice enough to let them exchange them even though they did not get a warranty. They did not go into the yard and look for tires but got some tires that were laying around that were in a bad return pile.

Once again they came to our yard now demanding to get their money back because they had just bought some new tires. That's when we told them that we could give them store credit because they didn't get a warranty with their purchase.

So as you can see we care about our customers
