I signed up on logobids.com to get a business web site logo created on the bid system from various graphic artists. I had used this service in the past and it worked fine but apparently it has gone downhill fast due to its bad reputation with paying artists who actually have the winning logo. Before posting your logo request you basically give a budget on how much you're wanting to pay the winning artist, plus the site takes a commission for being the "broker. The total ended up being $232.90.

My logo request however, did not yield good results. There were only 10 entries and the quality of work was very poor and less than what I could have done on my own. Shortly after I paid, I was contacted privately by one of the members who are apparently boycotting the site (only to know this after paying):

Logobids is bilking contest holders and artists.....you can contact artist's privately if you want designs after you get a refund.

Per their logobids.com web site FAQs they offer a 100% Money Back Guarantee:
We offer a 100% Money Back Guarantee within 30 days of payment. If your contest does not receive a minimum of 25 designs AND you are not happy with any of the designs, you may request a full refund.

If you decide to process a refund request, you will not be entitled to use any of the designs submitted to your related contest.

I've sent multiple e-mails requesting a refund on their web site contact us page and also left multiple voicemails to the only number they have posted on thier site 185543825646 (855-GET-A-LOGO) and still received no response after many days. Do not trust this company..apparently none of their hard working designers do now either!!
