So, I have made all my 12 payments and then expected to be granted a "deferment" as they call it on my 13th month and proceeded to pay other bills and try to catch up on things. I'm sure many people can relate. Well, Long Beach has been giving me the "runaround" now and said that these "deferments" are coupons provided by their investors.
Every other finance company I've been with (by the way, I have another car financed through Ford Motor and I've have been granted 2 extensions in 8 months with them) grants extensions for situations like this. Bottom line, I am a good paying customer and have made all my payments on time, I get into a situation (which is out of my control) and this is the thanks I get. Now I am behind and I have "reminder" calls from them daily. If anyone can avoid it...do not take a loan through Long Beach Acceptance because they do not believe in customer service.

AUTHOR: Cindy - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Friday, September 12, 2003
POSTED: Friday, September 12, 2003I had to demand on a daily basis for the deferment and finally after calling daily I finally got actually two because I have been with them for over 2 years. You have to bug them like they bug you for their payment. I have been threatened they will repo my truck and all of the good things the company is known to do.
There are a couple of employee that I work with are compasionate about financial problems. Hopefully you will get them sometime, the one guy that I work with alot is Luis 1.888.755.7240 ext 2190 he is very fair. Good luck on your adventure with the finance co from HELL.
