 Longs Billiards reclothed my pool table claiming that they were selling me high grade felt and it is cheap a*s s**t. They charged me over 400.00 dollars with balancing and refelting and the cloth is peeling off every pocket they put no bolts at all in one of my rails< and I found out why. They put my slate on wrong. The guy even showed me when he was here that they had not lined up the marking on the slate but assured me that was not a problem. well when I tried to have the rail bolted down they had to line up the holes and the rail cannot be lined up with the other rail because the slate holes were drilled to only go one way.

Now my table has to be releveled refelted and I am out the money I paid them because they made me sign a paper saying I accepted the work. Well I didnt know the felt was cheap it it got little balls all over it and the rails are out of line. I looked at the felt that I had on the table it was twice as thick as this crap. I will never buy anything from this company again and you can bet I tell everybody I know. I am a very good pool shooter and I must admit am ashamed that I payed very liitle attention to the equipment I have been playing on for over 30 yrs. But I am now and I am spreading the word RIPPOFF SOBs

 Longs Billiards pays everyone 25 dollars to write a good review. They are the most crooked company I have ever worked for. They are breaking federal labor laws and never pay their employees right. Scott long cuts hours off the top of the checks. Payroll companies have dropped longs Billiards because of the problems. Many employees are suing them to no avail because Scott long has good lawyers. No employee but one has ever worked there for more than a few months. Scott long would tell us to do bad pool table jobs on purpose to save him money. And forget ever getting a warranty on the tables even if it is our fault he will never fix it unless it is 100% convenient to him only. No one there has any experience with tables and are run through a one day crash course then thrown in the field to get hurt. And no matter how badly the injury Scott doesn't give workman's comp or unemployment or overtime and works us 7 days a week sometimes overnight. 9 dollars an hour is what all managers make... Sickens me. Don't even get me started on how Scott long treats the women who work there.

My positive experience with Long's Billiards

My overall experience with Long's Billiards has been a very positive one.  Over the course of this summer, I have had two interactions with this company.  

Long's was first contacted by my moving company as a private contractor to disassemble my pool table and get it ready for shipment to my new house.  The technicians who came to the house worked in tandem with my movers to make sure that the table was taken apart and crated properly for shipment.  The technicians were knowledgeable, friendly and very thorough in their job.

The second time I interacted with Longs Billiards was at my new house when the company returned this time to assemble, level and refelt the same pool table.  The new felt was ordered via phone to my exact specifications, shipped overnight and delivered at the exact same time the technicians arrived at the house to start work on the pool table.

The two technicians who put together my pool table were not the same ones who disassembled it but just as professional.  They took their time in performing the work required and answered all my questions as the day went along.  The quality of the felt is professional grade and the color is exactly what I wanted.

I did have a mishaps at the house that is not related to the work on the pool table.  Unfortunately in the process of detaching the old felt from the pool table side pieces, the technicians inadvertently scratched a coffee table they were using not knowing it was a brand new table.  

In the mishap, what is notable is the response I received from Mr. Long.  When I called to complain about the scratches on the new table, Mr. Long was very understanding and compensated me for the cost of the table.

Although I respect the other gentlemen's comments, I am buffled and dumbfounded by his experience with Long's Billiards as compared to mine.  Mr. Long and Long's Billiards went above and beyond to make sure that my needs were met and the work was done with professionalism and courtesy.

I would recomment Long's Billiards to friends and family.

Don't know who this person is and never received any E-mail with a complaint about this particular job.  We are in Va Beach daily working on jobs with many satisfied customers.  We only use the best Championship cloth available and we guarantee every job we do.  This E-mail is Bogus.  Our satisfaction rating is excellent among all internet sites.  Scott Long
