Longview RV - John ripoff, dissatisfied customer, sold us a lemon, not willing to take any loss and do a trade Windosr Locks Connecticut

We purchased a Jayco travel trailer in February 2006. We received delivery of this prouct in June 2006. We have been on 3 camping trips with it, and EVERY return trip home, brings us back to Longview RV in Windosr Locks, CT. Something has been broken on this camper EVERY time we get it back. They seem to not be able to fix our problem. Then the "head" guy John makes his team do the dirty work for him. He never follows up, makes promises he does not keep. Now, he is willing to allow us to trade ours in for another camper, but at a cost of $8000 more. Our camper is now "used" and he would never be able to get his money back. He could not take a loss. However, in doing research on NADAguide.com, our camper is worth more than what they keep telling us. So John told us to go somewhere else. All we are asking for is a fair trade. I have twelve years left of payments on a camper that is worth nothing??

John told me that the only reason his service people treated us well were because of him, otherwise, they would not have cared.

We had filed a report with the BBB in CT and are waiting to hear back from them. Longview offered us a $100 gift certificate, but ONLY if we called and removed the complaint from BBB record. Is that bribery?

Bottom line is, we have this lemon camper, 12 more years of payments, and no one that cares.

Please do NOT ever, ever, ever shop at Longview RV in Windsor Locks, CT. John will lie to you and tell you that you are buying the best camper in the world, but the minute you have a problem, too bad. Run as fast as you can!!
