If you are ever called by ANY company claiming that you have won the lottery or any large sum of money, first of all, it IS a scam. Not maybe, not probably, you do not randomly win large sums of money without knowing it is coming or without buying a lottery ticket.

Secondly, DO NOT give out any personal information over the phone or on the internet including your bank account information, social security number, date of birth, address, or names of relatives. If you do, you will be repeatedly victimized.

If you receive a personal check, money order, or cashier's check from someone you do not know, immediately call the police and let them know what is going on. The biggest scams going on right now are internet and phone based. Do you want the money trail to lead to you during a criminal investigation? I think not.

It all boils down to the old adage, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. These people prey on the elderly and the mentally handicapped. Let's all join together to stop these frauds from continuing.

Celebrity scam names

AUTHOR: Lorenzen - (U.S.A.)

Seriously, Joe Montana ???????   ROFLMAO !!!!!  These frog-heads are getting quite clever in their impersonations, aren't they ??  And congratulations on using your brain and not falling for this scam.  You'd be surprised at the number of fools who come here on a daily basis whining about how they've been scammed once AGAIN by these malefactors.

And, of course, your advice will fall upon deaf ears ( or blind eyes, as the case may be ) as the morons who need the advice most will continue to fall prey to every scam out there, no matter how many times they are warned.
