Purchased what was to have been, and what was advertised as a NEW washer and dryer set last Saturday, October 26th, 2013. I paid nearly 2500 dollars for a supposedly new Frigidaire washer and dryer set. Plus they hauled away my still working and perfectly fine set, which I am sure they are going to resell.

When it was delivered, the two total scummy delivery guys had packaged it in some used cardboard. When they brought it into my home I immediately noticed scratches across the top of both washer and dryer as well as some other unknown gummy substances. I also noticed a permanent circular stain on top of the dryer, that was obviously where someone had placed some type of can on it and had made a mark in the shape of the can.

The delivery guy made notes on HIS papers that I was unhappy and that there were scratches on the appliances. When you spend 2500.00 dollars, on a product such as this it should be NEW in PERFECT condition. I left the room as they were hooking up my machines to call back to Louies and tell them I was not happy. I spoke to both Lindsay and Doug the manager and asked to speak to Louie himself. He was not available. I was told by the manager of sales that he would "make it right" for me, and would call me back. I then went to check on the two installers. They smelled so bad and kept wiping their snot and sweat on their t shirts it made my laundry room reek.

They told me they were done, and my machines were ready to go. I asked repeatedly if they had run them thru the cycles, sincei t hadn't been long enough to do so, and they assured me that they had. They then left. I took some laundry and placed it in the washer on the regular cycle. In the first time it began the spin cycle the machine began to dance and jump all over my laundry room floor. It obviously had not been tested out or run thru a cycle or they certainly would have noticed this. I could not complete the wash cycle and my laundry was stuck inside as the doors on the machine lock.

I called back again and spoke to Lindsay and the manager Doug and told them what was going on. Again they apologized and said they would resend their "best" technician out the next day, Sunday the 27th, to fix the washer and balance it. Finallt after several phone calls as to his whereabouts, Chris finally came on Sunday afternoon. He told me he had many years of experience and had been to school for my type of machines. He began by tryimng to balance th machine and it took me bringing wood pieces in from my own garage to life and hold up the machone for him to get it balanced. Ridiculous. Then he tried several times to get it to run thru the wash cycle. But each time as it should go to spin, it would stop and not go forward. We sat there for nearly two hours playing with the machine to get it to run. Finally Chris stated he had to go, and that he would go back to the warehouse and bring me an entirely new machine the next day. Monday.

Monday came and no call no show. By 12 noon, I was at work and decided to call Louies again to find out when my new machine would be delivered. I was then told by Lindsay that Louie had decided that he was NOT going to bring me a new machine, and that I would have to go thru Frigidaire to get my machines fixed. Are you kidding me? You sold me the set two days prior and now you are going to stiff me and refer me out to a frigidaire person? They said they would call Runyon appliances a Frigidaire dealer and have them come to my house that day.

I met the technician from Runyon at my home and he examined the machines. He stated that these were obviously used floor models and certainly not a new set of washer and dryer as advertised and sold to me. He took the top off and showed me the metal casing all along the back of the washer that was bent, indicating my washer had been dropped and damaged at some point. He stated he would not have sold this set as new. He then called his boss Jerry and reported what he had seen.

I then called Louies back and again spoke to the store manager and reported what I had been told by the Frigidaire man. He said the giy was a liar and that I should not believe anything he said. If that was the case, then why did you send the man to my home? I have since called numerous numerous times to ask for Louie the owner and he never returns my calls, I was told by Doug the manager that I would be totally taken care of, whatever that means and have never heard from any of them since then. Finally after no response by anyone, I called my bankcard company and disputed the transaction as fraud. Hopefully this will spur Louies to get their act together and call me back. I want my original applainces back, and they can take their crappy used hot mess appliances and go rip off someone else. I am so pissed. I have photos. I have a letter from Runyons appliances and we shall see what happens.

I tried to buy local, as I like to support the local businesses. Instead I got totally ripped off and have two used machines with scratches, dents and dings. DO NOT under any circumstances buy your appliamces from these people. They do not stamnd behind their sales or service. At all. Avoid avoid. You can type in Louies appliances on craigslist in phoenix, and it will bring up all of the information about their company, what they have for sale, and their new location they are about to open. I guess when you steal from people, you can afford to open a new location? Please people, do not buy anything from this rip off organization.
