On December 1, 2012 I entered into a contract for a vinyl flooring install with the retail company I work for 'Lowe's Home Improvement, Inc. my home has been damaged and my health has been damaged because of the negligence of Lowe's sub contractor and that of Lowe's to act on reported safety, health and policy violations. Lowe's has retaliated by demanding my resignation in writing for filing a complaint. My purchase was as a consumer and my employment had no bearing on resolving this contracted install that has gone horribly wrong. A representative of Lowe's Corporate Ms. Deanie K. Watts called my home and threatened me for filing a complaint when repeated attempts by me were made to have the serious losses addressed.
I contracted for a job that was to take two days, it is now 8 months later and I have two additional rooms that were damaged and my main living space of my home has still not been repaired as promised nor released to me for my use. [continued below]....
The retaliation against me should be addressed. The loss of health, both physical and emotional, employment, income, benefits, insurances and the continued loss of the use of my home is inexcusable. I have no choice to seek a resolution through the Justice System as repeated attempts for restitution/compensation have been denied me by Lowe's Corporate Representatives. I have received no pay since February 2013, I was denied my vacation pay for the two weeks allotted because I filed for a leave of absence from work. I have been denied short term and long term disability provided by my employer through premium deductions from my previous pay checks. My employer has now cancelled my insurance which further burdens my ability to continue treatment and have access to the medications I have been prescribed.
I am receiving Snap food stamps and have filed for disability based on my diagnosis and the inability to function on a level required for full or part time employment. I have no income, no insurance, no employment, and do not have full use of my own home. I have a contract that Lowe's has breeched and refuses to honor. Their actions are inconsistent with 'normal' resolution process' with regard to 'consumer complaints'. As an employee who made the decision to enter a contracted purchase, I have been horribly retaliated against, civil rights violated by the continued refusal of Lowe's to repair and return my homes main living space to me, threats and employee rights violations have increased my physical and emotional injuries, as well as the duration of my suffering has been increased by Lowe's continued abuse.
