I have been having the run around for Low's rebate scam. I did a purchase of $3,691.54 and qualified for $600 rebate. I was told the rebate process is very simple, and three items need to be entered on line, and you should get your rebate in 6-8 weeks. Guess what, that is not the case. It's all a bureaucratic mine field, and you will get a run around for ever. On 1/27/13 I did enter the sale date of 1/19/13, location, invoice # online to get the rebate processed. Received a letter, after 4 weeks that my rebate was denied. So on, 2/17/13, I promptly called the lows customer service and asked why my rebate was denied. She said I did not have the item numbers, even it does not ask you on line for that information when the rebate is submitted. So she took the item numbers from me and entered the information on phone, assuring me that it will be mailed in 4-8 weeks with out any issues. I waited 8 weeks and was wondering what happened to my rebate. So called the customer service on 3/24/13, to find out about the rebate status, and she put me on hold about 10 times and giving excuses, and finally she said she could not conference me with the supervisor, because her conference button was broken, and she will call me in 5 minutes ... guess what she never did. I called again on the same day and got another customer representative, and she said out right that I had to call another number, for there rebate status. I did call again on 3/25/13, and they told me that both time some how I have entered either the sale date wrong, or the invoice number was wrong. So I inquired about the call I made and spoke with the customer service representative, who had entered the information with the item/model number .. she said it never happened. Now all I can do is to wait another 8 weeks to find out if the recent call I had with the supervisor, has ever happened --- Never trust the lows rebate process or customer service.
