Ok! So I started working there in December 2008. A week or two into the job a male employee who was seated beside me started making sexual comments about me. Then he proceeded to try to grope me and rub my legs. He then decided to pull his p**is out and tried to get me to touch it! WTF! So I scooted so close to the computer on my desk that my nose was touching the screen! As he was doing all this he kept telling me not to tell anyone. Honestly I was scared because this man was popular with a lot of the people there and I was afraid that if I did tell that some of the other employees would harass me about it. So I kept my mouth shut. However! After I told him that I was uncomfortable about what he was doing he STILL continued to try and do stuff to me!!!
So the week of Christmas he was gone on vacation, so I decided to confide in another employee that sat next to me and she told me we needed to tell someone so I gave in and did it. I filed a report at work and talked to the managers and they fired him. Come to find out! He had done something a couple of years back to another female co-worker and had gotten fired for it! SO WHY DID THEY BRING HIM BACK!!!???
Well the girl that I was sitting next to decided to quit because our supervisor has had a HUGE crush on her and was texting her VERY sexual comments! Telling her he would work with her about having time off and such. When she quit she texted him and told him he was screwed because she saved every text and was going to do something about it! Well that same day, our supervisor, district manager, and human resource manager pulled me into the office and told me that two people had came up to them and suggested that my friend had talked me into filing that report because she didn't like the man that did the things to me and that I was going around and telling people about the situation!
SO basically they were saying that I made it up and that it never happened! And when I told her about it that night she said that she had told him she was going to turn the texts in and it happened to be RIGHT before the time they had pulled me into the office! WTF! I never discussed this matter with anyone else other than my friend, but somehow these two other people found out?! And of course it upset me to no end because I didn't lie and I didn't know anything about this man that did this stuff to me! All I know is his name! I found out that he had done this stuff before AFTER the incidents!
So today I walked into the building and demanded to talk to the owner, Kevin Luebke. But the district manager told me he would want a reason and asked if I could just talk to her first about it. So I said yes but just her! So we went to her office and I told her that I have a feeling that the reason they pulled me into the office was because my friend had quit and said what she said to our supervisor about turning him in and that I didn't want that to be the real reason that they had pulled me back there the day before. She said it had nothing to do with her and that two different people had came up and discussed their thoughts with her the day before after lunch. Then she told me that since they fired the man that I can't sue them because they got rid of the problem and basically told me to suck it up and get over it! To anyone that has ever had this happen to them should know that something of that matter is NOT that easy to just GET OVER IT!
So she brought the two that had made those assumptions and it was two people that weren't even employed there when the incident happened! They preceded to say that they thought Emily put me up to saying that stuff and that I shouldn't jeopardize someone elses job! Then they accused me of talking about it when I know for a fact that I didn't! SO that was two more people that was claiming I was lying about the situation! COME THE HELL ON! Then I asked the district manager if he had done the stuff that I had heard about in the past and they claimed that "That's no one elses business!" and that if he had he wouldn't have been there! If that was true..THEN WHY DID I HEAR ABOUT HIS PAST SITUATIONS!
The people that work there are liars, they don't care what happens to you no matter how much they say they do! And on another level THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS! They don't even really train you they just expect you to listen to people and know what to do! They don't have a class and the supervisors there don't really care about training you, you just get penalized if you mess up! Seriously, that place has problems and issues of their own the they DESPERATELY need to deal with! Because trying to harass me about not suing them and trying to tell me that my friend is nothing but bad news and a liar is not professional NOR is it legal!
