Upon check out I pulled out my debit card at which time the manager says we are only accepting cash or check at this time. I said "I am sorry, this is the only form of payment I have." She responds by saying, "You gonna have to pay for your food." Of course my response was that was my intentions but that's all I have is my debit card. She then says you gonna have to go get money. I told her that was a huge inconvience to me and if I had known before dining here I would have chosen another restaurant.
She then got really angry and grabbed my debit card out of my hand and swiped it. She then told me it did not go through so go get some money. I then stressed to her once again the inconvience this was causing me since I had to drive to the closest bank that I do business with which was 5 - 7 miles away.
She says go right up the road and use one of those ATM's. I told her I was not willing to pay an additional $3 - $5 in fees, use my gas which costs $4/gallon and my TIME. She said that is not my problem, do I need to call the police? I told her of course not. As I was walking away she says I need your drivers liscense until you return. I said, "I have to get in my auto to drive so I am not giving you my drivers liscense." She says very angry and rude, "That is our policy so give me your drivers liscense." Once again I said, "NO" and gave her my Military ID.
Upon my return I gave her the money and left. When I returned home I looked at my on-line banking information and saw where my debit card was charged. I tried numerous times calling and each time told them who I was and needed to speak with the manager, they would leave the phone and never come back. Finally after an hour of trying the manager answered the phone and I told her my debit card was charged. She told me I had to bring her the bank statement. Once again I am being inconvienced but I wanted my money back. When I arrived I showed her my my account summary where the charge was and she took the print out and threw it and told me it was not her problem I would have to fight with my bank to reverse the charge.
Not once did she apologize, say thank you, come again! Please don't do business with this location! I really hope this manager got Fired!
