We were travelling to Sri Lanka and wanted to stay in a service appartment in Colombo. We found Mr Marlon Fernando details on a website and contacted him. He sounded very genuine on the phone and he indicated he could get us a fully furnished appartment at the Monach in Colombo 3 for around $900 for one week. He insisted that we pay the full amount and we agreed to pay him 1/3 of the amount as a deposit.
Closure to the date when we contacted him he said the owner wanted a full payment for the appartment and we said we would not make a full payment. They he indicated he would issue us a refund and the money was never refunded to us at all. This guy is a conman and dont pay him any moines. we were conned by Mr Marlon Fernando.
