 I feel obligated to let you know my experience with MC Furnishings. I met the owner, Mark to buy furniture. He pulls up in  UHAUL truck. I opened the boxes with the actual stools and everything seemed okay UNTIL I made it home to open ALL boxes. 1st of all he advertises using pictures from other furniture store websites to make his product appear NICE & NEW. Secondly, he advertise his product as..."NEW" still in the box. Yes it may in a box but it is far from NEW! The wood is obviously broken but repaired wood. You can actually see the corrections made with markers! Two of the barstools actually, split in half after TWO days. I contacted Mark at that time to inform him. He says, " I will be more than happy to replace them, give a couple of days to get more in and I will replace. I called him back after 2 days. He will not respond to phone calls or text messages (which is what he said he will NOT do when you meet him). I have called several more times....with no answer from my number. So, I called from another number, pretending to be a potential customer and inquired upon the same furniture that I bought. He said that he had it in stock and cold deliver it to me. Then.......I call from my job phone and told him who I was, in which he remembered me. I asked about the stools that he promised to replace. of course,,,,,he stated he didn't have any. But would ccall me as soon as he received more in stock. THIS GUY IS FULL OF CRAP! STAY AWAY!@!! HE WILL GET YOUR MONEY AND DISAPPEAR IN HIS UHAUL TRUCK!!! STAY AWAY....TOTAL RIPOFF!

NICE PICTURES/cheap product!

 I can attest to the quality of the product from this company. I purchased a bonded leather bedroom suit from this company. The leather on the headboard was fine to the eye. However, the wood finish was chipped and appeared to be touched up or fixed in some kind of way. My bed coverings was able to hide it, but is it the principle that I expected the furniture to be NEW as stated. I cannot not recommend. Sorry!

So... Are you saying that the only way for your merhandise to stay together is with your PROFESSIONAL ASSEMBLER?? If so...then to keep your reputation.....you should have him to deliver and put the items together. But...thats not an option when you purchase the merchandise. ADMIT IT..... YOU WISH YOU HAD HANDLED YOUR BUSINESS A BIT DIFFERENT THIS TIME! And FYI.....JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE OVER 1700 LIKES ON FACEBOOK.....

THAT DON'T MEAN THAT 1700 PURCHASED AND WAS SATISFIED! LOL...That strictly means that they like what they see..... WHICH IS NOT WHAT THEY GET! The picture speaks for itself!  Nothing about my situation with you was unreasonable. You have posted o your page that an exchange is available within 3 days....I contacted you in 2 days....WHY IS IT THAT YOU NEVER REPLACED THE STOOL?????? HUH????? MR UPSCALE BUSINESS MAN WITH THE "PENSKE LEASED TRUCK?????? LOL Bottom line.....  SHADY!!!

1st of all….YOU WERE NEVER THREATNED BY ME! Text messages don’t lie, remember that! I  told you that you were full of B*** S***! That was because you kept making promises and then avoiding me. On the 1st stool….you were contacted 2 days later. That is when you offered to replace the stool and have your assembler deliver them. You stated that you would contact me after 3 days and let me know when and what time was good for me. There was never a word form you OR RESPONSE TO THE TEXT MESSAGES. Then…you are right! After a month another stool fell apart. I called you from another phone and tell you the same lie as before.

“ I WILL CONTACT YOU WHEN I RECEIVED MORE”. You don’t have any replacement stools but you have stools to sell to prospective buyers. I have been more than reasonable and patient with you.  I would have never posted this review, you had been anyway reasonable. I would have respected you more if you had made promises to replace the broken stool 2 days later and told me upfront that the furniture was REFURBISHED, RENEWED OR WHATEVER YOU WANT TO CALL IT. BUT IT IS DEFINITELY NOT NEW!! LOOK AT THE PICS CLOSELY…you can see where the wood was colored with some type of colored furniture pen.

So, from one business person to the other….don’t make promises to your customers that you have no intentions on fulfilling. So you can go ahead and file charges to whomever you want. AND STOP THREATENING ME WITH YOUR UNCLE BEING A POLICE…. I WOULDN’T CARE IF HE WAS THE POPE!  Have him to contact me and I will show him what you sold me. I don’t care how you look at it or sugar coat it. WHAT YOU DID WAS VERY UNETHICAL…and I know my rights as a consumer. No one works hard for their money for people like you to take advantage of them!  LIKE I SAID ….THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED!  SO DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO!

Customer LIES and is UNREASONABLE

First and foremost. MC Furnishings ALWAYS stands behinds the products we sell. We choose the best quality products and sell them for over HALF the cost of the leading Furniture Stores.

 This particular customer assembled 2 Bar Stools INCORRECTLY. When referred to a PROFESSIONAL Assembler, he refused and stated he was a professional. About 2 weeks after purchasing the item, he stated 2 of the Bar Stools cracked where they locked into the wood uner the chair part. THEY WERE NOT ASSEMBLED Correctly.

 

I immediately apologized and offered to order replacements for him. I explained to him replacements are ordered directly from the Factory and are NOT taken from my current inventory. This was not good enough for him, and I explained, had those stools been assembled correctly, we wouldn't be here. 

He has harrassed and threatened me personally and as a company ever since then. Legal Charges are forthcoming as of 05/23/2013 with the Dekalb County Sherriff's office.

 

We as business people know there are UNREASONABLE customers and customers who stretch the truth because they don't get what they want. This is obviously the case here. We have over 1700 likes on our fan page and 1000s of satisfied customer reviews that can be published or sent out upun request.

 We do NOT use a uhaul truck. Never have and never will. We lease a box truck through a seperate company using a small business program, so here is another example of the customer displaying FALSE statements.

 We wish the customer would have listened to our reccommendation and had a professional assemble his item, but he didn't and due to his own actions, caused damage. MC Furnishings will NOT suffer because of a customers actions. We did offer replacements but it was not quick enough for this customer.

 This is a very RARE occurance and we value all feedback from our customers. We are human, we can not make everyone happy, but we try our best!!! We look forward to handling any business with anyone in the near future!

 NOTE: None of the products we sell are USED or REDONE - I have supplier invoices, factory direct statements, and all the proof needed to prove such claim. The customer is way off base and trying to shift blame for something that he created. Meanwhile, I was still going to replace the stools even though it was HIS FAULT, but he wasn't patient and decided to write up lies. We apologize to him to this day, but are no longer interested in doing business with him and the stool replacement offer is ENDED.
