MERCHANT DIRECT SERVICES CHRIS WALDROFF, ACCOUNT MANAGER TOTAL FRAUD AND MISREPRESENTATION OF THEIR CREDIT CARD PROCESSING SERVICES DAVISON, Michigan
Chris Waldroff approached our business and stated that he could give us a better deal than the company that we were using at that time. After a hour or more meeting with him he convinced us to go with his company. We gave us the figures in writing of what we would be paying and we asked several times about any other charges, were there any hidden charges also. He said no, only what he had written down. No other charges at all.
He also said the company would reimburse us for our cancellation fee from the other company. We asked how long it would take to receive the money and he stated 7 to 10 days. It has been over 30 now and we have been lied to several times about when the money would be re-deposited into our account.
Upon giving us his business card he stated that we could call him anytime with any problem and he would take care of it and he stated he was our personal account contact. We have tried to call him numerous times with these issues and the only time he answered the phone all the did was scream at us and called us a liar, stated that he had nothing to do with reimbursing our money and would not calm down enough to even have a conversation with him.
Now our credit card machine has been down for 3 days and have been unable to use our machine which is causing us to loose a lot of business with no end in sight to these problems.
We were told that we could not cancel our contract with the credit card machine company (which there were lots of hidden fees there also) or the credit card services (hidden fees and lots of them)
This is a very short version of what is happening to us. This company needs to be stopped from ripping off people and closed down. Anyone else with these problems please contact the State Attorney General's office.
