MERLINDA MATUSZEWSKI DO NOT TRUST HER WITH YOUR TAXES! FRAUDULENT! DISHONEST! CHULA VISTA, California

We had asked Merlinda Matuszewski to prepare our 2007 Income Tax Returns. We did not sign nor receive our copy, because before we could get our hands on it - she said that she filed it already and told us that we don't have a refund at all.

Some time later, we received a letter from the IRS stating that we need to return a certain amount because we were overpaid in the tax refund they had sent out. Well, we had never received ANY kind of refund because MERLINDA told us that we didn't have one. So we called her but she did not answer her phone, so we left a message explaining the problem. She never called us back, so we went to her house many times but her mother or her husband would tell us, she is not there or not available.

We went to IRS to verify our Tax Returns. When we got our tax returns transcript we were certainly shocked because there was a claim of losses from a janitorial business. We were never involved in any kind of business. And upon review, the bank account number that she used is not even our bank account number! We went to the bank to verify if they received the amount of our refund to that bank account number she used. They said YES! So whoever that bank account holder, it certainly not us..... and since Merlinda had told us we don't even have refund, it makes sense why she lied to us.

MERLINDA MATUSZEWSKI is very deceptive and manipulative, and we hope no one else gets taken advantage of the way we did!
