I decided to open my own small business in excavation, however, I needed a government grant to get started. I had telephoned several places & then discovered MGR.
Mgr received my application for a grant in the amount of $90,000 and telephoned me immediately. They advised me that I needed to pay the amount of $449.00 to cover any/all necessary paperwork & they would be in touch as to whether or not I was approved.
I waited 4 & 1/2 to 5 months for them to contact me by telephone telling me I was guaranteed my grant in the amount requested. They then informed me that they would be sending me an e-mail with a list of 3 businesses I could contact in my area that would be most convenient for me, to receive my money.
They informed me that it would take 3 days by e-mail & it ended up being 3 & 1/2 weeks since I spoke to them. I have not received any further information and when I tried telephoning them I get a voicemail and unreturned phone calls for 2 weeks.
I am out $449.00 and I have wasted almost 6 months on them when I could have tried to receive help from another company. I am outraged & annoyed that I was taken! I just wanted to start my business and have a future and these people have not only robbed me financially, but they took my hopes for a better future as well.
I not only wish to file a complaint but I would be very much interested in pursuing legal action against them. These people need to be stopped before anyone else gets scammed! People everywhere--beware--do not trust this company!

I received a response from MGR after I left them several voicemails. Mr. Mancini returned my phone call with a voice filled with concern on the matter. He asked me what seemed to be the problem being I was in the computer approved for my grant. I explained my situation of not receiving the info on the 3 places that would give me my grant--no return calls from the company & no promised e-mails. He was very sympathetic and offered to e-mail me the 3 places I was promised & hard copies by mail within the next 3 days. That was 2 weeks ago, I have still not received anything from this company including the return of my $449 fee for all of this aggravation. Im not giving up!!
