MOVING EXPERTS Destroyed our property our move from France and now won't pay us the insurance money to recover damages. Colombes France

My wife and I were moving internationally and used the Moving Experts company to move us from Le Bono, France to San Diego, CA USA.  We paid in full for the move and insurance to cover any damages during the move.  We did not take possesion of our items for roughly 6 months so we had an addtional storage cost along with additional insurance that was required and we paid in full.  When we finally took delivery of our items at our home in San Diego, CA, there were damages that we claimed insurace against within the alloted 15 days.

We took photos and wrote up the damages that were encurred. These items were provided to Moving Experts in both electronic email and physical certified mail form.  The damages based on original assessment of insurance coverage was over 3000.00 Euros for the value of the items.  After we were told to get local assesments to repair the damages for some furniture, we thought it was a done deal and were waiting to be informed of our claim approval.

So it has now been about 9 months since we made our claim and gobs of emails have be volleyed back and forth, with most of the emails coming from us.  The person helping us has since left the company and this explains why we suddenly stopped getting any updates from her.  Also, no one from the company ever responded to let us know she had left the company either.

We have called several times now, and have also spoken to several folks at the company.  We have not had a return call nor have we had the director contact us to find out what the heck is going on.  In fact he now won't take our calls.  This is the same person (the director) the handled our initial moving deal and that offered his fathers contact information in San Diego, CA because he was a captain and I sail myself.  

We desperately want our items repared or replaced.  We have moved several times internationally and have never had this type of experiences.  This is a total shame and completely unethical behavior for a company (Moving Experts) you hire and entrust the care and safety of your personal belongings only to be rippped off and scammed in the end.
