I ended up buying the car and it was explained to me that if I have any future issues with the car, then I can purchase parts through them at their dealer cost and help me fix the car up with reasonably priced labor. I
also have the option of just purchasing parts through them and getting who ever I want to do labor. Bottom line is that they know they are selling used cars and they know shit happens. When things to happen they wanted to let me know they are not the type of dealer that will just say well you are up the creek without
a paddle.
Now about a month or so after I have bought the car I did have issues with the high pressure hose, in which I went to Autozone to get diagnosed because my check engine light came on. I went to a mechanic shop and asked how much would the parts and labor. The mechanic told me the price for the hose alone was $164.95 labor not included. So I went to Mr. Roben and told him that the car was having issues. He told me to bring it by the lot and they will take a look at it, and so I took it by the lot and their price of the high pressure hose was about $94. They ordered it for me and I paid them for the part. To get it installed and everything all together I paid $140. Now $140 for parts and labor oppose to $164.95 is a $24.95 price difference. So, yes, I did save some money when I went back to the car lot.
I would also like to add that they were super appreciative that I had communicated with them that there was an issue. They told me that some people just get really frustrated and feel that they have been wronged without even coming to Roben with the problem to even try to resolve it. I really love this small dealership because they are a good bunch of people who really make an effort to help their customers. As oppose to a dealership who sells a car and dont care if its having problems or not. I also understand that when I sign documentation that says AS IS, then the people who sold it to me dont really have to help me any further than that. But MR Auto Finance did help me when I was having issues after I had purchased the vehicle. So I would like to just take this time to say maybe this individual just had a bad experience and not let one bad apple ruin the whole bunch.
