Do not use MS Glass, they do not do what they say they will do in their advertisement! My son's car had a cracked windshield and about the tiime we were going to get it replaced we got an ad in the mail from MS Glass that said they would pay up to $100 towards the deductible as well as give you a free $20 prepaid gift card. When I called to schedule the work, I mentioned both and they said they would pay $50 towards the deductible, not the $100 and would mail the gift card when they billed the insurance company. After 3 weeks went by I called to see where my son's $20 gift card was. I was told by the Manager that they were not doing that any longer. I told him that his staff said it would be mailed to me, and I had just gotten another ad from them saying the same thing. He asked me to take a copy of it and send it to him, so I did. He called me back and said they weren't running that promotion any longer, and I said I just received another copy of it in the mail, and it sounded like "bait and switch" to me. We went with their company in part because of the $20 gift card, that would help make up the difference in the $50 ded we had to pay. He said look, it's just $20! I said $20 is a lot to my son who is just working part time and living on his own, plus it is the principal of the thing to me, if you advertise it you need to honor it!
Long story short, after much arguing with him he said he'd send it out although he didn't have to. So in today's mail we received a gift certificate to MS Glass for one free rock chip repair, instead of the prepaid $20 gift card!!! HELLO, rock chip repairs are already FREE through insurance companies!! What a joke! If I had known they were going to first of all, argue with me about giving me what they advertised, as well as giving me this worthless gift certificate for a rock chip repair we would NEVER have used MS Glass, and I told they manager how crappy I thought this was and would tell everyone I know as well as posting it on the internet. We will NEVER use MS glass again!
