Mva is a company that is manned by publicist. Or so I thought. I had contracted Public Relation Services for a talent in the entertainment industry. She is a minor and is a singer. We had a meeting where we were promised all kinds of red carpet events, marketing and promoting, and was even promised stardom. The only thing we got was a back alley entrance to one red carpet event, empty promises and a 50,000 bill.

We began to realize that the things that were promised and contracted were not being delivered at appropriate timing, and the continous charades from promoters for radio, promoters for certain magazine coverage, to promotion on events, were making our bills higher and higher.

What they do is tell your child that they can get them in all sorts of teen magazines and websites. They sell you this promotion for about 75,000. But what they don't tell you is you can call the media outlets and let them know you have a certain budget and if they are interested they will promote directly. They also tell you that they can get your child in front of major labels and such, again lies! They pay a promoter to get you a meeting but it is not to sign your talent it is a fast way to sell you a dream with no outcome. And once again, you can solicite your talent if you bargain and pay for it yourself. Some of the other things that they promise, and this is the catch, to get you in front of Disney and Nikelodeon. Well that didn't happen either because they have no real connection with them. And lastly, when you visit their office, they will name drop a "BIG" artist and say, " Did you run into so and so, in the lobby on your way in, they were just here?". They have some artist, but nothing to brag about.

There monthly rate is about 6500, which they will collect 3 months in advance. If they think you have money to spend, they will increase that budget. They will promise you a bio, websites, photoshoots and all kinds of stuff that they will use to help Promote of Market the talent, but it will cost you triple if you go through them. You can contract these services and pay a lot less.

And to bring this to an end, if you happen to fire them or cease your contracts with them, they will blast your name and the client to all types of people in the industry and will lie so that you can not move forward. And since no one has had the guts to let them taste their own medicine, many have fallen and will continue to fall victim to their rip off. I have compiled all the invoices and wire transfers that we have done, and we are in the process of submitting to the IRS. I hope that the IRS, will find it interesting enough to audit them, and then we will see the type of service that they will provide. Please be careful and do your homework. I wish I would have done mine, and would have researched to find a more reputable company.
