On 6 May 2002 I sent to MVI Marketing / Mini Vacations my Registration Validation Form with $100 Post Office Money Order as a deposit as required. My intentions were to take advantage of the free air and hotel stay in Las Vegas in the MVI brochure.

After going back and forth on at least 4 different occasions MVI requested I select and reselect the dates for Las Vegas trip. On 3 Jul 2003 I received a letter from MVI stating that the date for my Las Vegas trip had changed again or I could select alternate options some which included a refund of my $100 deposit.

On 8 Jul 2003 I replied to MVI 5 Jul 2003 letter. I selected the 3 day/2 night drive to a complimentary hotel stay valid for over 20 destinations plus $40.00 in free gas rebates to get me to my destination. IN ADDITION A RETURN MY $100 DEPOSIT.

On 15 Jul 2003 I received an envelope from MVI. It contained the necessary documents to request a 3 day/2 night stay at a complimentary hotel plus $40.00 in free gas rebates. IT DID NOT INCLUDE THE REFUND OF MY $100 DEPOSIT.

On 25 Jul 2003 I sent a complete package to MVI identifying my certificate number, a copy of the Post Office Money Order and past letters and again requesting a refund of my $100 deposit. To date MVI has not responded to my letters NOR HAVE THEY RETURNED MY $100 DEPOSIT

Jerry,

Mini Vacations handles hundreds of thousands of vacation request each year and due to this volume we generally need about 30 days to process a refund. In cases such as yours in which the customer selected replacement certificates in addition to a refund, we send the certificates out immediately and the refund check follows several weeks later. This is undoubtedly the case with you and a refund check has most likely already been mailed out to you.

Please contact our company with more information about you so we can access your record in our reservation database. If you are still due a refund of a vacation deposit from our company, we will send it out to you immediately.

Please call our VIP Customer Service Department at (800) 566-8281.

Thank you.
