I purchased a cricket Nokia flip phone: model 3606. I have a cricket cell phone and was going to put my fiancee on my plan and get her a new phone. I arrived at mississippi and peoria store to do just that. The male worker inside told me do not do it that way it would come out to be a "arm and a leg" as he explained it would be much smarter to activate a new phone under her name and it would be much cheaper. After doing his fancy math calculations it did seem like a smarter thing to do.

She then began to look for the phone that she wanted. During this time I asked the worker what the return policy and the insurance policy was. He explained that if within 30 days the phone has any defects due to manufacturer that it would be replaced right on the spot with no problems and no fees! If it was due to me then it would cost $85 dollars for a replacement as long as i went with the insurance and if I didnt and something I did to mess it up would not be covered or replaced. This makes complete sense right? The man even then after purchasing the phone and getting the insurance gave my fiancee a free hard case to cover the phone in. We left everyone was happy.

3 weeks later we took the phone back due to glitching speaker problems. The male there told my fiancee to take the cover off of the phone so that he can examine it. No scratches,No dings, Had not been dropped. (as suprising as that sounds) He then tried numberous things to the phone and then told us he was going to do a update. He then told us it would work give it a while to take effect. Ok everyone left happy yet again. Well about 4-5 days later the phone completely went dead in the speaker. Calls in and out can not be heard so you have to put the phone on speaker and you can get about 3-10mins of conversation before that goes completely silent. She then took it back to the store in which the man told her it was a factory defect and to pay $85 to get a new phone right on the spot!!!

I have had numberous conversations with cricket wireless (*611). I have tried talking to numberous management or supervisor. I have been told by JUDY on *611 that her supervisor wanted nothing to do with me and would not accept my phone call! This has officially set me off. I have gotten nothing but run around from them.

*611: first told me to take it back to the store of purchase and get it replaced.GOT NOWHERE... secondly told me to take it to a closer store cause they deal directly with *611 and they would get it replaced. I had my fiancee go there after 1hr of waiting she finally got seen to have a lady look at her phone for less than a minute and take the back off and say that the serial numbers on her account and the phone do not match they cant do anything for her! i just got off phone call #14 and was told that they dont know whats going on because the serial numbers do match!

The call before last the lady asked me how much i payed for the phone and i told her it came out to around $180 total. Her response to me was "well do you have a problem paying the $85 for a new phone?" WTF do you think? Yes i have a problem it is crickets mess up and yet you want me to pay for it???

If anyone else is having this problem or can somehow get me ahold of someone bigger than the ones that pick up the phone I want corporate because this is complete B.S. Cricket has no respect for there customers. They need to take off all there comericials and tell people ""JUST OPEN YOUR WALLETS WE ARE MORE THAN HAPPY TO TAKE WHAT WE CAN GET!!!""
