after initial consult and payment schedules,discuuss contract terms ,2/4/10 signed contract as it was ipmerative to request file closing after only submitting paperwork and $1435.00 retainer fee,they closed the file 2/8/12,and kept all the money the services and work was not used a refund of $159.00 was sent for due diligence fee,however their attorney fee for 1.9 hours @$250.00 hour total $475.00,and non attorney 12.8 hours @75.00 hour total $960.00 exceeds the scope of earned fee which there is no accounting for time spent before the contract was signed,or after the request to close is received and close out,except for file close out ans accounting o f services that were 18 minutes for attorney,and 12 minutes for the non attorney time. Yes they rip off the client.and must be held accountable and refund the appropriate fees they didnt earn.as the services were not performed or not used.
